Good boots, they break in fast, look great. They feel a bit loose, but are still comfortable. They do scuff easily, so if your looking for a durable work boot, they may not be the best choice.

Look:We bought these Doc Martens for our son. He claims they are the best things he has ever put on his feet! I wanted to write this review to compliment Zappos. It was the first time we have ordered off of their site and we were blown away at their customer service. They even upgraded our delivery package for no cost! We will for sure shop Zappos again.

Look:I really dig these boots! The 8267, with its black stitching (on the sole) & military look toe is an awesome boot that not only has a kick butt look, but is really comfortable to wear. I bought these in a size UK 8/US 9. My foot is wide, but I have never had to buy extra wide in any shoe (or boot). I usually wear a 9 US, and wear an 8 1/2 US in Converse/Chucks. I always wear athletic socks that are not padded. (I don't care for thin or really thick socks.) The fit of these boots was perfect for my feet, they have just enough room in the toe and are a great boot to stand and walk in for long periods of time. Zappos has great customer service and this customer is very pleased.

Look:I purchased these boots about a year ago. I specifically chose these shoes from the vast Dr. Martens collection because they did not have the yellow stitching. The beauty with these boots is that you can wear them in any situation. Whether it’s daily wear or for formal occasions, these are very versatile looks wise (although probably not suitable for work boots.) I have had no major problems with the 8267 regarding comfort and wear with the exception of the “break in period” that applies to all newly purchased shoes. The only question mark is regarding the durability…the sole isn’t as tough as other Dr. Martens boots but I guess these are not meant for bush walking and hiking. All in all, they have served me well and thus I strongly recommend!

Look:Was not at all pleased with these boots. They had absolutely no arch support and your heel feels like it isn’t down into the boot far enough. Adding a set of insoles only made this worse and also didn’t leave me enough room across the top of the toes.

Best Boots Yet - I bought these from Zappos in the evening and they came the next day. The boots are great, the leather is soft and broke in very fast. They already droop and form fit to my feet. They are very comfortable, but the insoles are still breaking in a little bit as well as the actual soles. My only complaint would be that they look like they have a steel toe, but they don’t. Not that I really need a steel toe for anything, but yeah. All around great boot!

I consider myself a shoe expert! Especially boots. You can trust my review to be accurate. I wear a 9 1/2 shoe and boot. When ordering, I usually order two pairs, in a 9 and a 9 1/2, to compare fit. After trying both these sizes in this boot, I can accurately say that they run 1/2 size large. The size 9 fits well, with a tiny bit of room to spare. I would say they run slightly on the narrow side. They are extremely comfortable and can be worn all day with complete comfort. I wear my boots with a thin sock and this fit would allow me to wear a slightly thicker sock too. The calf width is not huge, so it works well with my thin calf, but may not be great for someone with a large calf. The boot is beautiful and the quality of leather is superb. The heel height is perfect for a flat, not too flat. They are worth the money! I love these boots.

Much better than expected - I have owned Docs for 20 years and by far this is the most comfortable pair I have ever bought. They look great and the comfort level is amazing. I almost ordered from another online store but I gave Zappos a try and I will never shop anywhere else for shoes again. I made my order at 6:30pm and they were at my door the next day at 3:30pm. That is some fast shipping. They did upgrade my shipping to priority I didn't ask they just did it.

Spitting Soles - The soles split across the bottom of both boots within six months of wear. Poor quality compared to my 10 year old boots these were to replace. Great looking boot, but all I ended up with was an expensive pair of laces. What a shame. I'm currently looking for another brand.

Best Docs ever - I've worn Docs since early 2000 and the quality has not changed too much. Case in point is these boots. THESE ARE NOT WORK BOOTS. They are sneakers hiding in the body of a boot. They may not be rigid work boots, but what you lose in durability, you gain in comfort and style. I wore these walking all day shopping and couldn't stand to take them off. I love the boots. These are the best Docs to come out since the 1460. P.S. There is NO BREAK-IN PERIOD ON THE BOOTS due to the ultra soft leather.

Great boots - These are amazing boots. Comfortable right out of the box (unlike most Docs) and look great. I wear a 12, but needed an 11 in these.

My New Standard Doc - I decided to give Martens one last chance and try a different style. What drew me to these is the all black look, they are a bit less noticeable then the yellow stitched 1460's but they are actually quite stylish and they have grown on me. They look good, a tad military like because of the capped toe and unlike other Docs these were immediately comfortable. The leather is much softer and pliant, which is nice as I'm not a teen anymore, my only concern is if that will affect durability. These are not work shoes, they aren't tough enough. The rubber sole on these is black instead of the usual brown, which is neat also. The only thing I will add is that these are a bit chuckier than normal Docs, which tend to almost meld to your foot; these are shaped almost like Timberlands. Overall I give these shoes a 9/10, and Zappos as always a 10.

I miss my old Docs!! These fell apart in less than a two week period!! The sole by the toe is falling off already. Cheaply manufactured, probably to achieve higher profit margins. Punk rock has sold out!!

Not the 'made in England' quality - These boots are great, probably the best Docs out there right now (due to the thick soles and nice traditional styling), but there is some kind of technical problem with the soles - they click, not just in one place but all over, when you walk.... as if the little air pockets inside the rubber were collapsing and opening up again. This has been mentioned in other reviews (of flex-link docs), so I guess it's a general problem with the manufacture in China, and not a fault with my pair. Ah! the old made in England Docs will never come again! But these are close, and good. Here's to more like them in the future...

Good for casual, not for industrial environment. I assumed these would be steel toed with thicker more sturdy leather. They are very comfortable and good boots, but I kinda feel like I was mislead into thinking I could use them for work.

Not quality made - Look great - that's the best thing about them. Other than that - poorly made. Bought them, and had to return them. Leather is butter soft and very thin. Which was a good thing for me. Usually I have real hard time breaking in Dr. Martens' boots. If you plan on subjecting these boots to something other than regular street wear - think again. My problem was that the left boot was made differently than the right one. It would cut right into the high arch making wearing it unbearable. As usual for DM boots - almost no arch support. Boots were made in China.

Great comfortable boots! These are perfect! I bought them for my daughter, having had some myself in the "old days" and she loves them. Great style and not so masculine looking -- a very unisex boot. Leather is soft and she'll have these boots for a long time.

Nice boot - This boot looks cool and is extremely comfortable. The leather is soft and supple and the sole makes you feel like you're walking on air. Unfortunately, I've only had these boots a month and the sole is starting to detach itself from the boot - and I don't do anything in these boots but walk around. Also, it's too bad Doc's don't come in half sizes. If you wear an 11 1/2, get a 12 and put some insoles in them.

I've owned many pairs of Doc Martens, but these have got to be the most uncomfortable ever. Months after I bought them, they are still hard on my feet. But they look good.

You Can't Go Wrong With Doc Martens - These boots look great and are very comfortable. I ordered the ox blood in a size 13. I think I have worn them almost everyday since I received them. Ordering online was quick, easy and they arrived right on time.
