eVent® waterproof and highly breathable membrane that keeps your feet comfortable and dry. Perspiration vapor travels directly through the eVent® membrane's microscopic vents. No moisture is held in the membrane, so fabric layers and the microclimate beneath remain DRY INSIDE™.

Comfort-Tec Elite support sockliner is an advanced multi-layer sockliner that features:
-A moisture-wicking top layer.

-Ventilated design for coding.
-Full-length contour molded EVA sockliner for fit and comfort.

Stabila-Flex contoured thermo-plastic bi-fit board which is a multi-density, contoured lasting board that ensures torsional rigidity and delivers essential forefoot flex without the weight.
4:SYS six density PU/CMEVA backpacking midsole. 4:SYS technology is the culmination of two years of intensive research and testing into the dynamics of the foot. It delivers more efficiency to the wearer by allowing the foot to move naturally and adding more cushioning and support where it is most needed. The research that led to the development of the 4:SYS midsole breaks down into 4 areas of cushion and support:
-The "toe-off" area: a unique "toeplosion" area to spread impact energy and return it to allow 'spring' into next step.
-The forefoot area: for cushioning and energy return to help forward motion.
-The midfoot area: for support, stiffer, denser materials support the foot during transition or stance phase.
-The heel area: for cushioning and shock absorption, the softest density is in the center to reflect the highest pressure zone during heel strike.
