I agree with the previous poster. The circumference of this boot is 14.5 to 15" and not the 17" that is stated. Don't get me wrong, if you have what they call a "regular" size calf, these are really cute boots. I would have kept them if I wasn't planning to wear skinny jeans with them. If you have slightly over regular size, and aren't planning to wear anything thicker than stockings or leggings, these would work as well. I am going to give them 5 stars all around because it isn't the boots fault that they aren't the circumference listed.

Don't order these boots if you need a wide calf. They are no where near the 17.5 inches they claim to be. I ordered these in both brown and black and ordered in an 8.5 and a 10. Neither of them were 17.5. Try 15 inches. Ridiculous! Of all the boots I've tried, and there have been many, Naturalizer seems to be most accurately wide calf. What a disappointment these boots are!

I ordered the black and brown and both pairs measured 15 inches in the widest part of the calf. Very disappointed, as my calf measures 17 inches at its widest part.
