I spent a lot of time looking for the right boots. I needed flat boots, with a zipper and laces so that I can make them as tight as I wanted. And these are exactly what I was looking for. The fit is perfect and they are elegant, too, so I can wear them with skirts.

An appealing soft boot, but gave me some problems. I bought these boots at the absolute last minute for traveling. I wanted something that would be o.k. with a casual skirt as well as with pants and wouldn’t require breaking in, and these did fit the bill nicely. With my own insoles in them though, I discovered that they rubbed terribly on the inside of the heel, and I think they always will. As long as I put on a band-aid over that spot on each foot though, I was able to solve the problem and wore the boots every day during which I had to do lots of walking. Fortunately, I had plenty of band-aids with me.
