Look:Love the shoes. Very comfortable. Run extremely large. I am normally an 11.5 or 12 in most brands but needed to drop down to a 10.5 in these Converse.

Converse by John Varvatos - I'm returning these shoes today. I ordered my usual size, 7, as most of the reviews said they fit true to size, but not so. They are a bit big. I should have ordered a 6.5, but they were out. They look great and feel good, other than being big. If you plan to order these shoes, order a a half size smaller. As usual, Zappos had fast shipping and great service.

Stylish but way overpriced. I love these, but only because they look so good and there's nothing else that looks quite like them. I love the style. But they're nowhere near worth the price. The white stitching on the tongue started unraveling the first time I wore them and they're tattery (poorly made) in places where they shouldn't be. Also, I'd say the women's sizes run a little smaller than true to size. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't buy them at this price.

Outstanding product and service from Zappos! I first thought that paying $95 for a pair of Converse was a bit much, but after receiving the Jack Purcell Slip-on I was completely alright with it. I ordered them late one afternoon and they were on my door step the next. Didn't even have to pay the overnight charges. They are comfortable and stylish with no effort required. Just slip them on and go.

Great Shoes! I was in need of a replacement for my chuck taylors which I have had several pairs of over the years. I have to say I really like the looks of this style and also the slip on for a change. The thing to know is cons typically run a bit big, but not these ones. So I had to make an exchange. But as always a smooth process with Zappos! If you like the standard Chucks you will love these. Better overall comfort and support with great style.

Lightning fast delivery - These shoes are very comfortable and also very stylish. These shoes are also more comfortable than the regular Converse all stars/JPs due to the extra padding and a removable insole. Zappos' delivery was lightning fast and I was very satisfied.

Luv Deez Bizkits! My 15 year old son is thrilled with the look of these, but he needed to add laces to keep them on (for some reason they only came with one lace, but this was easily remedied). I wish there was a bit more arch support, but overall they appear well made and comfortable.

JV-JP Converse Slip-on - Great compliment getting comfortable shoes... My only complaint is that the Converse Jack Purcell/Varvatos are not like the "other" Converse/Varvatos shoes... For example...if you wear a size 10 in slip on shoes normally...get a size 10.5 in these...and a size 9.5 in the "other" Varvatos shoes.

Sick Shoes - They fit really well, they feel really good, and they are really, really, really good looking. Sweet shoe! I purchased the white pair. You may have to order 1/2 a size down. I didn't but Zappos exchange policy is fantastic! I had the other pair by the next day and I'm all the way on the East Coast!

Awesome shoes - I never really cared much for Converse plus pretty much everyone has a pair, but I know John Varvatos makes good clothes so I decided to buy these. Needless to say, this is an awesome shoe. It looks and feels great, goes with pretty much anything, and most importantly (at least for me) it's a limited edition so you won't see anyone else with them. I highly recommend them.

Comfortable, convenient, stylish - This is the 2nd pair of the Varvatos Purcell slip-ons I've bought from Zappos. They're as comfortable as walking around in slippers, they're as easy to slip on and off as a pair of loafers and they look great! I always get favorable comments on them. I ordered these 1/2 size too small, but leave it to the GREAT Customer Service Dept. at Zappos. I not only easily returned them the next day, but my replacement pair showed up the next day, too! For selection and service, you can't beat Zappos. And, NO, I'm not getting paid a cent to say so. Zappos Rocks!

A Classic!!!! I love this pair of shoes; I can't believe they fit so good and look great, better than regular Converse shoes. I ordered 1/2 size smaller than my regular size and they fit excellent. I am going to buy another pair before is discontinued!!!

NYC designer John Varvatos works his magic again; this time with the Converse Jack Purcell Slip. The convenience of no laces and the soft broken-in canvas makes them the most comfortable and stylish sneaker available today. As a long time Jack Purcell fan and collector of these shoes, I have to say they're definitely my favorite pair, followed by his traditional tie version of the JP. You won't be disappointed with these shoes!

I wear size 11 in the regular Jack Purcells, so, following the advice on the website, I ordered these in a half size down at 10.5. The length feels fine, but if I wear them all day and on my feet a lot, I find that my pinky toe gets a bit sore. My feet are not wide, so maybe I should have ordered them in a regular 11? If I just wear them to kick around in, they're quite comfortable. They are also really cool looking. I love when people ask how they stay up without laces. I tell them it's magic. :) I'll buy in other colors if/when they become available.

Superbly designed and well packaged - These are several steps up above the regular Converse line of Purcells. They look the same from a distance but you will soon see the difference. The inside is lined with fabric that adds extra comfort when wearing these sockless. Extremely cool shoes.

Beautiful, Simple, and Comfortable! These are the premium versions of the regular Converse slips! These kicks probably cost twice the price of the regular ones but I think it’s worth every penny. These are limited edition designs by fashion designer John Varvatos. The kicks also came in a very nice collectible box with shoe bag. Stylish with everything including jeans, shorts, khakis, and dress pants. VERY comfortable.
