These boots fit great on my wide calves, and I haven't been able to find any that fit! They look a little cheap when you first take them out of the box, but they look great on - really tall with the perfect amount of slouch. Comfy and warm, too!

I received my boots today. Feels great on. I got them in a size 9 and they are very comfortable, only thing is they are cheap looking but I guest you get what you pay for. I do plan on keeping them.

The shoes are comfortable; it is stretchy but it does slouches down a little at time. I have big calves and I usually have issues with zipping the zipper (feels too tight), but this has stretchy material so it feels comfortable. This shoe is true to size.

So disappointed with these boots, especially because they got such great reviews. Here is the lowdown: they are a great height, I am 6 feet tall and they come up to my knee, so for an average height woman they will be a great over the knee height. The problem is that they are fabric, not suede! And they are a cheap looking fabric at that. Additionally the toe on one boot is crooked and the shaft of the boots are so wide at the ankle that they bag around the ankles and fit at the calf. This is not a good "slouchy" look, it is a cankle look. As I walked around they quickly started to slide down my leg, causing even more bagginess. Sending them back and trying another brand. Hope this helps.

I'm 5'6" with a 13" calf and these boots fit very well. Boot goes to top of my knee and stays up! But I can still push them down if I want. I got the grey leather and they look luxe. Thanks Zappos for giving measurements for height and calf. I've looked and looked and finally remembered Zappos, they are the best. Don't hesitate to buy this style.

Not worth the price! Very cute, but the quality is awful, truly awful. I have seen $30 boots with higher quality than that. I tried them on and the shaft was already bigger in one side. True to size fit. You got to wear it over your knees because if you slouch them under your knees, they don't look good, at all. I'm 5' 4" so obviously depends on your height. I returned them and getting different ones.

These boots are incredibly comfortable, which is essential for New York, since you walk everywhere. And, just as the other reviews say, the boots are wonderfully slim-fitting. Even zip-up boots are usually quite a bit too wide for me, as I have narrow calves, but these fit very well (great over jeans, but fine with just tights, too), despite being pull-on. It's great to have the convenience of boots I can just pull on and off, without them being so loose that they look like clown shoes, which is usually the case. I also love that these boots are nice and long, as I'm very tall, and I'm tired of 'knee-length' boots that come half-way up my calves. If you want to wear them very ruched, though, of course they'll be shorter then. But I prefer them somewhat straighter. The only reason I'm giving four stars overall, is that I've already noticed some wear on the toe, where the black is coming off. I suppose I have walked a fair amount in the boots, although I haven't even had them a month. On the whole, though, I'm very pleased with these.

Very comfortable and wearable boots, got lots of compliments right away. I have a bad back so had to give up in high heels, but these boots still let me feel stylish without the pain.

As others have noted, straight out of the box the synthetic upper gives off a powerful toxic chemical smell. I left them airing out in the shop hoping they would be okay to wear in close quarters within a week or so. They aired out well, but you still don't want to get too close to them with your nose. Fit-wise they were a bit narrow in the ball and toe and I am usually a true 8. If you will be walking a lot in these get half a size bigger. They don't have much support, very thin soles and are certainly more for looks than functionality as a shoe. As far as looks they were excellent. I wore them with a skimpy cocktail dress but will also wear them with skirts at work. They can be pulled up or scrunched down. I have small calves and they looked fine.

I received these yesterday in black 'suede' in size 10. Size is good, seems true to size, but these boots are not worth the price. The sole is very, very thin, and the shafts are stretched out already after wearing them for less than 5 hours, so they are just slouchy now, kinda sloppy looking. They won't stay up, and I am not sure a stitch will do the trick. Yes, the smell was terrible when I got them, but it seems to have disappated already. If you're heavy and have a tendancy to walk on the outsides of your feet, do not get these. I can imagine the foot part collapsing quickly, and then the 'suede' will touch the ground and start to get that worn look. Overall, I should not have paid more than a reasonable price for these boots. I am keeping them because I have been wearing them today, but after one season, someone at my Goodwill store will have a nice score!

So cute! I liked these even more once I took them out of the box and tried them on. VERY COMFORTABLE. True to size.

I just opened these and almost fainted from the smell of plastic and some kind of chemical paint or whatever it is. I really hope it goes away because they are so cute and fit nice. They are supposed to be leather and it says man made materials on the inside. I'm not sure if I'm keeping them yet.

I bought these boots a half-size up based on reviews (I tend to do that with boots anyway) and they are definitely roomy. A thick pair of socks will help solve that while insulating during cold weather. The shaft is larger than I would have liked, but workable. I usually don\'t wear anything lower than 3-4 inches and the flatness combined with the thin-feeling sole feels a bit strange. I will probably pick up some gel inserts to combat. Good looking and a value for the money.

I brought mine in tan. Love this boot because it will go with so many different colors and can be worn with so many different things: skinny jeans, leggings, or just bare legs and a mini skirt. They look good pulled up over your knee or scrunched down below the knee. True to size, but if you want to wear socks with them, go up 1/2 size. Sole of shoe is thin, might have to add padded insole.

Purchased these in black suede. They look and feel cheap. The toe box is too tight, and the actual width of the shaft is huge.

Fabulosa! I can't believe how great these boots are, and for the price, they're fabulosa. I am 5 '10" and it's so hard to find a long enough shaft for me. These look super great over leggings or skinny jeans!

Cute boots. I am almost 6\', size 11 with thin legs and most boots are too big for my thighs. Surprisingly, these fit pretty well, just very slightly bigger than my calves. They come to just below my knees. The boot material overlaps over the top into the lining about a couple inches, so it would be possible to fold them down. It is also possible to pull the material up to take most of the wrinkles out. They look very much like the picture and I am happy with the way the material looks (black pleather). They do smell like chemicals coming out of the box since they are synthetic, but I\'m sure that wears off. Oh, and they come with a cute black satin boot bag - a nice bonus.

I bought this boot in black, brown, and beige synthetic leather. (It came in beige last year.) I'll probably buy it in the gray synthetic leather this year. I wear a size 8. These fit me perfectly. If I had anything slightly negative to say about this boot, it's that the soles are pretty thin, you can feel whatever surface you're walking on. So I added insole inserts to all 3 of these boots. The synthetic leather is very soft and slightly stretchy, so even with the inserts, the boot is very comfortable. But the best thing about this boot is that the slouch of the boot is adjustable! If you pull the slouch out, the boot becomes an "over the knee" boot. If you pull the slouch out and then fold over the top, it becomes a "pirate cuff" boot. Or you can wear it slouched, either higher or lower, just as you please, well up to a point or the lining will show. Wonderfully versatile boot, it looks good with skirts, dresses, or tight pants/jeans/leggings. I've worn a pair sightseeing, i.e. lots of walking, and to parties, i.e. with a short cocktail dress.
