I've only purchased once online with Zappos, but the experience was extremely good. I shopped at Macy's for a pair of Clarks Escalade shoes, but they didn't have the wide size I needed. Macy's ordered a pair for me, but ordered the wrong color! However, I liked the shoes so much, I kept them and I went online to order another pair with the right color. I received the shoes at my home in about 4 days from online purchase. The quality of the shoes is great, they're highly comfortable, very fashionable and I purchased them at a good price, no more than what I would have paid at a retail store. I'll definitely check first Zappos.com next time I buy shoes.

Look:These shoes are incredibly versatile style-wise; they go with anything from dark jeans to suits. They look great and are "different" without being overstated. They are also quite comfortable, especially after being broken in, though they are not exactly "cushy". I was somewhat worried about the one or two complaints about water infiltration. But I applied some Doc Martens Wonder Balsam (costs $9, great stuff and doesn't affect the color of the leather at all) over the shoes and working it into the seams a bit, right after the shoes arrived. I've since worn the shoes on rainy days and through very wet grass without any problems.

Look:Overall, a good set of shoes. It took me a few extra days to stretch them and for them to fit comfortably. The toes still leak a little if you're in rainy areas often. Besides that, very nice.

Do not buy. If you are going to be in any type of rain, do not buy this shoe! Zero water proof! Water literally pours into the front of the shoe.

Soakers - My toes were soaked after walking in light rain (the shoes were not submerged in water). Clarks Customer Service was great in sending me a replacement pair. I experienced the same problem with the replacement pair. It is a shame as the shoes are comfortable to wear. Check the weather forecast before wearing!

Look:I have a wide foot with a very high arch. Consequently, I have a hard time finding shoes that fit well. The Escalades are very stylish and unique but most importantly comfortable. I might just have to get them in black. They did seem roomy at first but they don't slip off so they actually seem more comfortable.

Look:I bought these for my husband, who is an internal medicine resident and on his feet all day (or days) at a time. They took a little breaking in, as his feet are wide and we rounded up in size. Otherwise, he loves them. And other residents have asked where to get the shoes, because they look nice and are very light and comfortable.\r\n\r\nHe has wide feet, so we got a half size bigger just to make sure they would be wide enough. They were very true to length though, so next time we\'ll buy the right size lengthwise.

Worth the price! I am a history teacher, and am on my feet pretty much all day. I read some reviews and decided on this shoe. Great choice! I love the comfort and will certainly order the brown ones to go with the black pair as soon as I can. This was a smart buy.

Look:These are the perfect work/casual shoes for my husband. He's a doctor, so he's on his feet much of the time and says that these give him great arch support and reduce leg fatigue. He's not alone, our wedding photographer wears them for long shoots. The brown color is beautiful, with just enough variation in color to make them hip without looking distressed. The black color is solid black.

Look:Very comfortable and light walking shoes. However, they leak like a sieve! After a light rain, I took a 5 minute walk across a short grass lawn and my feet and socks got wet inside instantly. Returned this pair and ordered same style as replacement, exactly same outcome! The Clarks used to be my favorite walking shoe, not anymore. The only good learning: Zappos return process is simple and nearly perfect.

Look:These are the best shoes I think I may have ever purchased. They needed little to no break in time and they fit like a glove. The are very stylish and I use them with khakis, jeans or slacks. I expect that I will buy these again in black. A great pair of shoes.

Love 'em! I've owned this shoe, or its predecessor style, for the last 5 years. And I'll continue buying them. They work for the office or the club, and they're super comfortable. Also, without the laces, they make the perfect shoe for going through airport security (I travel a lot for work).

Look:Very comfortable yet sturdy-feeling shoe. Versatile for semi-dressy, dress casual and even jeans. Interesting styling, but not in a distracting way or such that it will look dated in 2 years. Planning on buying another in brown (1st pair are black). Only criticism is that it's difficult to tell from the website photos exactly how any of the styles look in 3-D, real life.

Look:I've had these for a few weeks and they're great shoes. I was looking for some somewhat casual slip on's and tried several different pair. These were not too dressy but not too casual. Very good for wearing to the office everyday.

Great Shoe - This is a great shoe - comfortable, roomy, excellent foot support, light weight, and dressy casual. I have the tie version also in the Touareg which I think is made on the same last.

Great shoes - I really like most Clarks having owned probably 10 pairs. These are probably the best I have bought as they combine comfort and the styling is very good. The only negative is they don't breathe that well like most loafers so your feet sweat some, but not bad at all. Most snug fitting loafers have this issue. I highly recommend these and Zappos is the place to get them

Pictures don’t do justice - These shoes are quite a bit dressier than the pictures let on and they are extremely comfortable. ONE WARNING is they tend to run a little tight so if you are on the border between widths I would go with the wide. I had to return them but the Zappos team is so great that it wasn’t an issue.

Great shoes - Needed a new pair of black loafers for a sales convention at the last minute. Found these locally at a good price but was nervous that I would have sore feet from breaking them in. Nope. Fit great right out of the box. Stylish and lightweight. Lacks some arch support...will buy an insert...no big deal. Great shoe.
