Love these shoes! Great arch support, they are very comfortable. They are perfect for wearing around in the rain, hooking to a hiking bag etc.\r\n\r\nOrdered mine at 9pm and they were in my mailbox at noon the next day- so fast!

I was initially thrilled to get these shoes as a gift, but soon learned they weren't the "all day" summer shoe I was hoping for. While the construction is sturdy and cute, the toe strap cinches down on the big toe after a short time making these only wearable for a few hours. In addition, the buckle around my ankle rubs, but I have particularly bony ankles so that just may be me. I have since tried the similar models with no toe strap and they feel very good and seem to eliminate the problem.

Most awesome pair of sandals I've ever had. First pair of Chacos for me. They are soo comfortable; the Wide width was perfect for my usually hard to size foot. They feel a bit heavy when you pick them up but it's not a problem when you are wearing them. I walked all around a theme park for 2 days straight and was ok at the end of the day, where as normally I would have been in excruciating pain. Great for my flat, no arch, pronated feet. Definitely worth the money! Much better than any prosthetics for my pronation.

Straps too wide - Maybe I just have short toes, but I feel like the strap was too wide for mine. The ZX/2 were much better in this department. Some people have complained that the sandal is heavy which is true, it's heavier than other sandals, but unless you do next to no walking ever, it shouldn't be a problem. What I did have a small issue with is that the straps holding the heel strap to the shoe rub against my ankle in a way that resulted in small blisters after walking for several hours. Great arch support though!

Didn't work for me - I wanted this sandal to work because it's the ONLY sandal or shoe I've ever tried where the arch support actually touches my feet (I have super high arches)! The straps are also a neat idea (but may take some practice to adjust) -- all of the straps are actually one continuous strap and all can be tightened or loosened which is great for unusual foot shapes like mine! However, I found the toe strap painfully uncomfortable, I don't know if it was in the wrong location or what. I tried wearing it with the toe strap under my foot (thinking that if that worked, then I could exchange the sandal for the Z/1 Unaweep) but the sole was so thick, stiff, and heavy that it did not bend with my foot, which in turn made the straps dig into my feet with every step as the heavy sole pulled the straps down. If you're looking for a flexible or lightweight sandal, I'd recommend trying something else!
