Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support

Great shoe. I have other Salomon's. I made the mistake of ordering a half size too big; unlike other running shoes, these are true to your normal shoe size. Don't size up.

I have both the gortex lined and regular wings and love them. Used the gortex lined pair all winter on snow and ice and down to -10F. Kept my feet toasty and the traction is great on both pairs.

Nice Shoe - This shoe is a great running shoe - Off Road Mainly for me. I liked the shoes itself and probably would have kept it if the toes portion wasn't as stiff as it was on me. I have flat feet with little arch support and these felt a bit snug for me in the 8.0 (which 8.5 is my usual size). The size 8.5s were yet too big... so I had to return them. I think these would work great on a woman with a narrow to medium foot. The cushion was nice as well.
