Leaky, but looks nice. Got these for my husband who works outside year-round. The look very nice. He says they are very comfortable and easy/quick to put on. However the second day he used them in the snow and rain, he said he could feel a little leak right along the seam on the instep! We repaired with some crazy glue and now they are ok.

My feet tend towards narrow and many shoes are too wide in med width and too narrow in narrow. These are perfect because the elastic bands take up the difference. I bought in both black and brown since I found something that fit! Love em.

Didn't seam to hold up - Yes, my title is actually a pun, I know how to spell. After one season of wear my Cascadian Crest's are starting to fall apart. Both insteps are starting to split at the seams and the loop on back of one, that's designed for pulling the boot on, has broken and eventually completely fell off. I am disappointed since these boots are otherwise comfortable and good looking. One note: I'm not a city dweller, I live out in the country and do quite a bit of trudging through snow, although I certainly do not abuse the boots and always point my toe when pulling them on. My boots are 11's, I am a size 10.5 and I generally wear regular socks with them. My fiancée has some Sorel zip-fronts and after 2 years of use, they show no undue wear. I'm planning to return them to the place of purchase.

Comfortable shoe - I ordered this boot (I'm a woman) because most women's boots are 1-not rated for -45 (I live in NE Vermont and have bad circ.) and 2-tight in the toes (doesn't help with circul). This is a very comfortable boot, although I ordered a 1/2 size up for thick socks and that was not necessary. It is true to size, and being cushy inside, roomy enough for thicker socks. Wish it was a little higher, but quite comfortable and good looking. Agree with the other quotes of zipper problems, you really have to pull zipper up all the way and snap down into place.

Am waiting for the bad weather to hit to really test these out, but they feel very comfortable. For snow boots, they aren't too heavy or awkward. Also like that they don't make my feet look too big. Feel pretty true to size, but a little narrow-they would be snug if I wore thick wool socks with them or if I wanted to put my arch supports in. Definitely would order up a size for heavy socks, etc.
