Mediocre - This shoe is not without merit, but overall I would recommend looking elsewhere. I purchased the Fitzwell Walter as the result of searching for an attractive yet not flashy, comfortable shoe I could wear in a business/business-casual environment. In the end it served this purpose, but with significant drawbacks. One thing that is very important to note is that in the heel is a clear "Nike Air" style window into the interior of the shoe. In the picture it looks black like the rest of the shoe, but it's not, and while not extremely noticeable, looks kind of ridiculous on a show like this. After receiving the shoe and seeing this, I immediately considered returning it, but after trying it on and finding it extremely comfortable to walk in, decided to keep it. It is a very comfortable shoe; I would compare the feel of walking in it almost to the feeling of walking in a sneaker. If that was the end of it, I would give the shoe 3 stars, and say if you don't mind the weird window-thing, go for it. But after 3 months of low-moderate usage (about 2 days a week), the heel semi-collapsed on one of the shoes. While I had purchased these shoes for less than the current price, even at that amount the quality of the shoe didn't come close to justifying the price.
