Look:All in all, an excellent purchase. Width was as expected (EEE), size felt slightly larger, but as the day wears on our feet do expand and fit was good. A very well made shoe, but Florsheim has that reputation! I'm pleased with my purchase and will not hesitate to re-order. Zappos made it quick and easy to do.

Look:The Florsheim Edgar is an excellent value, long wearing and comfortable dress shoe. Great traditional look. On my second pair now; I put a pad scuff on the toe of my 19 month old original pair. Other than the scuff they are in great condition. I hope Florsheim continues production of these shoes for a long time.

Great shoe fits true to size. My only gripe is the matte finish look. I buy shoes every 6-8 months and switch between the Florsheim Edgar and Bostonian Akron (has a shinier finish), can't go wrong with either.

Basic No Frills Business Shoe - For this price point, you can't beat this shoe. I've owned a similar pair in Cordovan for 3 years and they still look great. You can tell by looking at this shoe that the soles and heels will last a long time. A quick shine once I confirmed they fir got these shoes looking like models twice and three times the price.

While I have not played this particular game, I know that my kids want this one and I have seen the other Lego games similar to this one (Lego Star Wars, Lego Batman) What I like about the Lego games is that the players are built like Lego pieces and therefore walk and move like a Lego would move. When they are "blown up/laser blasted/whatever you may call it, there is no gore, the players simply fall apart like Lego pieces would and then reassemble as the Lego player, much more comic-like for the small kids to see and more fun!

Looks great, feels good, and squeaks! I have owned these for a little more than a year. Normally I wear Rockport Captoes because I do a lot of walking around town. But sometimes you need a dressier shoe with a leather sole, and these certainly fit the bill. The appearance is impeccable, with the cap and rear upper of very shiny leather, and the section of leather between being of a more matte finish (not really two-tone, both are very black). The left one squeaks a bit.

Look:More info needed about leather soles - I am satisfied with these shoes, but I'm disappointed with the leather used for the soles. I usually like to get half-soles put on the shoes, but the shoe-maker said that it could not be done with this pair. This is because the leather has been treated with oil, and glue will not adhere to this sole. It would be good if soles of this type could be mentioned in the description of all men's shoes.

Well Worth It - Can't knock Florsheim’s--my last pair lasted me almost ten years; I expect these will as well. As others have noted, they run a little narrow.

My wedding Shoes - I wore the Florsheim Edgar when I got married. They are decent shoes overall that look attractive and did not take long to break in. I wore them for the entire day and they did not hurt my feet. You have to be a somewhat careful when you walk, as they can be a little slippery on smooth surfaces. However, with care this can be overcome.

Great looking shoe - I have a very narrow foot (10B) and have always been able to wear Florsheim shoes. Recently have had a lot of trouble finding narrow fits. This is a little loose in heel but overall a great shoe!

My review of Florsheim's Edgar. Although I had the impression at the beginning that these shoes might have been rather uncomfortable because Florsheim's in general are sort of a hard kind of shoes, I must recognize that after wearing them day by day they are among the best ones I've ever had.

Florsheim Edgar - This is the third time I've purchased this shoe. I've been able to resole the shoe four times before I had to purchase new. It is by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I highly recommend it to all men who require a comfortable, long lasting dress shoe.

Edgar takes the cake - WOW, that is all I can say about these shoes. Sickening good looks and comfortable. This the best all around dress shoe in the $100 range-and I've tried on a million pairs at malls looking for the right one. Soft leather yet gets an amazing shine with the kiwi polish. Top notch leather! Simple but sophisticated look, classy, quality, versatile. I originally had bought the Florsheim Chase, Florsheim Lexington perf. tip----I returned them both in favor of the Edgar. I'm a perfectionist, and I am very happy with these. I'm hooked on these forever.

Great Shoes - I haven't worn these shoes much yet, but so far they have been great. They look great (nice shine and plain look) and they have not produced any discomfort. Walking on carpet with the leather sole is an experience, but it is getting better as the sole is broken in. I wear a B width and the shoe is a perfect fit. Also, the burgundy matches well with all my dress pants. Overall, it seems to be a great shoe.

Florsheim edgar review - Heel of the left shoe... a little tight. But after a couple of days of wear. It fit comfortably. It seems like a good shoe, however, it is too new for me to tell how it will wear over time. Generally, I buy florsheim and I am usually happy with their products.

Very classy shoe. Virtually no break-in period...felt very good on first wearing and just got even more comfortable after a few days. The width may be slightly wider that marked, but for me that is a good thing. Highly recommend these shoes. This is my second pair of Florsheim's...the first pair lasted many years.
