Great trail shoe - awesome shoe. Mine have seen many medium distance trail races and have held up very well. Have put about 2000 miles on them and they still have a lot of wear left.

I wear a 12m in Nike and Asics, bought these shoes because thought orange was cool looking. The only bad thing is I had to buy a 13M because it runs that small. I like the comfort and the integrated tongue. Very comfortable and good looking shoe.

Well, as promised by my preview, written a day ago (before this shoe actually got to me), here now is my true review: Having owned two pairs of Puma's Trailfox *II* for the past year and being totally thrilled with them (apart from minor questions of durability), I just ordered a replacement pair of that same Model *II*, and also one pair of this Model *III*. Both pairs just arrived together, PRONTO, true to Zappos' superb, free, O/N shipping! And again, I can't rave enough about the *II*, identical even in its Rock-Ridge/Grey hues to one of my earlier pairs. As to the *III* which I had ordered in the only color available, a mix of so-called Chocolate/Coffee, I have already arranged its return. Why? I find its hues heavy, and muddy, and pokey-looking. But here is my real gripe: this Trailfox *III* is a CLONE of the Trailfox *II*! ~ Exact same weight (on my kitchen-scale, 12¼ Oz. per shoe in the Men's Size 10½... and remember, I have a brand new pair in each model for comparison)! ~ Exact same styling except for color changes! ~ Exact same materials, with exact same proportions to the naked eye! ~~ Folks, this is the EXACT SAME SHOE! So, although I rate this *III* a full Five Stars for Comfort (expecting no difference from the awesome Model *II*) and a near-perfect Four Stars for Looks (due strictly to my color response, which I frankly admit is purely personal), I must rate this Trailfox *III* merely an average Three Stars Overall, because I believe PUMA has been dishonest in suggesting that this is an upgrade from the Model *II*... But this is THE VERY SAME SHOE!
