I'm actually surprised by other people's reviews of these boots, because my biggest complaint was that the calf was too wide. I have pretty chubby calves and I work out a lot, so they're solid little guys and even they were swimming in the huge necks of the boots. I could've worn one on my head, really. Great color and height, but I shipped them back. It was too ridiculous.

Look:Finally - a tall boot that fits! I am very hard to fit in boots - I have a wide foot and large calves plus my left ankle is larger than my right due to numerous fractures. I ordered these in the brown and they are very comfortable and flattering. However, I do need to return them and I am very sad about this. Size 8 was not available and I had to order an 8.5 - sometimes this is not a problem but unfortunately these are way too long for me. I am keeping my fingers crossed a size 8 will become available soon because I absolutely adore these boots!

I found these boots doing a search for "wide calf", but they most certainly are not. They fit exactly the same as every other boots I've tried on, which are not described as "wide calf". The black patent doesn't stretch at all.

Look:I bought these in a 9.5 wide and they are the most comfortable shoes I own! I admit that the patent leather doesn't look as good as it could, it's very shiny and "plastic-y", but not really in a bad way. I wanted to wear them for a work function, but they are too "hot" for the skirt I was wearing. They are great with pants because they really pop, and would be good with a long skirt, or for going out with the girls. They stay up (no slouching, but do nip into my ankles a bit). Overall, a good buy and a great fit.

Look:I actually really liked these boots. At size 11 it is very hard to find a cute boot and living in Seattle, you really need them. But alas, I had to return them as the zipper bulged out at the ankle. My ankles are pretty slim but my calf is not, that could have been the trouble. From the brief time I had them on at the house I could tell they would have been great if not for the durn zipper bump out. Rats! Oh well, hope they work for someone else because they were cute.

Look:Love these boots! They look great with suits for work, but also with jeans or more casual outfits. I wore them one work day that started at 5:30 a.m. that didn't end until 9 p.m. and my legs and feet did not hurt at all. My calves are not skinny, but not too big and these fit perfectly!

Look:These boots are amazing!! I have such a hard time finding trendy and comfortable boots for my large calves and feet, and the black patent are the best I\\\'ve ever purchased. I wore them all day last week for shopping, cooking, rehearsal, etc., and never once felt the urge to take them off. Love! Little too sexy for work, but that\\\'s ok, my bf loves them. :-)

Look:"Not the glass slipper." I read a lot of the reviews and thought that I'd found that glass slipper of a tall boot. Well, not so. I wear a 6 and have bigger calves, but didn't realize I apparently have tree trunks for calves. The reviews said they'd fit wide calves and some even said they were too wide. I bought the red and the brown and neither one would zip more than 2/3 the way up my calf. I pulled, stretched, pinched, tugged, etc., to no avail. I'm returning both pair. On a side note, the ankle part was huge and would have looked a little odd even if the boot had zipped all the way up.

Bat wings!! These were comfortable in the foot for my 6WW feet but the shaft was HUGE! I liked the red so much I thought about having them taken in but looked difficult...maybe the shaft is bigger on WW shoes..but I am petite with duck feet! (quack,quack)

Look:Love these boots. They are very comfortable. I've worn them for 15 hours without a need to take them off at the end of the day. The best part is that they fit my wide calves. My left calf is about an inch more "muscular" than my right; the stretchiness of the boots hides that fact. A note of caution, though; these boots are very wide. I have extremely big calves and the W fit great. The WW were too big. Luckily, Zappos has a great return policy and easy process, so it wasn't a big deal.

Look:I love these boots! They are comfortable and stylish! I was bummed that I had to order 3 pairs to finally get the perfect fit. They run really big. I normally where a 6.5 and ended up with a size 5 in these boots! Thanks to Zappos, I didn’t have to wait long to get the next size in the boots which I loved! The super fast shipping is excellent especially when you are trying to figure out the size you need!

Look:I bought these and wore them to my high school class reunion the fit was great I have very large calves and a wide foot and have a really difficult time finding a pair of dress boots or any high heel that will fit comfortably. I work construction and spend most of my time in mens work boots. I had no problem; they were very comfortable and I could walk easily in them.

Look:These boots are fantastic! I wear a 9.5 EE (double wide width) and these boots fit perfectly. The stretch material accommodates my very large calves, and the height of the heel is very comfortable. I have worn these out for an evening and had no discomfort at all. Moderate but adequate support. If you\'re looking for a pair of comfy but sexy boots, go ahead and order these. You won\'t be sorry!

Look:Wonderful boots! Heel height is excellent for walking around town. Great fit. I have a triple A heel and these surprisingly do not slip on me. Very stylish. I have gotten a lot of compliments on the red color.

Look:I received my pair of boots yesterday and I love them. I finally found a pair of knee boots that fit my calves. I did purchase the WW in the material first, but they were too large on the foot and the calf. I thought, hey let me try the Faux leather. They fit just a bit tight, but they are stretch, so I zippered them. I agree with other reviews that they clearly do not look like leather, but, hey, they fit and that alone makes me very happy. I will order more colors for sure!

Very nice, but not a perfect fit. The boot is perfect for the look I was going for. However, the calf is wide for my leg and the toe is narrow.

Huge calves! I have very large calves and always have a difficult time finding boots. I bought these based on previous reviews as being a good candidate for a knee high boot for large calves. When I put them on, however, I was swimming in them. There was almost an inch between my leg and the boot all the way around. Also, I have owned a few stretch faux leather boots; this fabric looks nothing like leather. Disappointing.

Finally, boots that fit my "linebacker" calves! I have lived my full 39.5 years having never owned a pair of boots. We all have our little body issues, and mine has always been my legs. When I was in grade school, the boys gave me a nickname based on a football player because I have the calves of a linebacker. I have made due, and even made peace with this. But today...today I finally own a pair of boots. I'm an 8.5WW shoe with calves about 19 Inches in circumference. These boots fit me exactly right. I'll be buying the other colors now.

Must have GIANT calves - I have big feet. If my feet were smaller I would tip over. Not everyone with big feet has big calves! There should be more room in the toe area and less loose fabric in the calf area.

Look:I ordered this boot in both colors. I have 19.5 inch calves and the calf of this boot is almost 3 inches too big. Because I wear 13ww, it wasn't possible to get a smaller calf size. Believe it or not there's too much room around the leg! Also there needs to be more cushion inside the sole area. You'll need to buy insoles for sure.

Great Buy - I purchased these boots while searching for something else. I had always wanted some red boots...but my size (women's 12-13) was always an issue. When I saw they only had one pair left in my size I thought I could try them and always return if I didn't like them. Well...I just chunked the return label. They are comfortable and will forever stay in my wardrobe. My only dislike it that they bunch a little at the ankle. I'll be wearing them mainly with jeans, so that's not a problem for me. Definitely a great buy for me!
