Look:My husband loves these shoes. They give him great heel and arch support. Last year he tore his plantar fascia so now he's concerned about making sure he has enough foot support. He uses them when he plays platform tennis, so there is a lot of front/back, side/side movement. I recommended the Barricade to him because I have the ladies version, which I love!

Look:My second pair of this model. I upgraded from Barricade II. Def a different feel from the older version. I wear for tennis and platform tennis. Excellent durability. First couple of days they are stiff but break in nicely. Really firm foot bed so you can really feel every step (unlike some shoes which are way too soft). A little heavier than other shoes but due to re-enforced sole and worth every ounce. Perfect for hard courts.

Look:I love this shoe. It feels like an improvement on the Barricade IV. It feels stable on the move. I've worn two layers of socks since college so I get these a half size big and they fit like a glove.The outsole guarantee is nice if you play more than three times a week (which I do). The lacing is much more comfortable than any other shoe I've tried. It takes a little time to wear into the toe bend, but I find that after playing for about a week, the flexibility in the forefoot was appropriate (not too flexible, but not stiff).

Look:The traction is superb, but the pair I recieved ran about 1/2 size small and very narrow. I was not able to use the top eyelets because the laces were too short. I have had them for several weeks and the best part of them is when I get home and get to take them off! I can not recommend them at this, or any other price.

Look:I play tennis 5+ times a week, maybe a total of 12-15 hours. Over the years I have tried any number of shoes, but keep coming back to the Barricade V's. They are the only shoes that keep my knees and ankles from complaining in the morning. Great support and stability. Feel a little heavy at first, but (for me) the weight no longer bothers me, instead it seems kind of reassuring.

You won’t be disappointed! When I received these they were a bit tight but after a few days they conformed to my foot nicely. You might want to consider getting a half size larger if you are on the fence with shoe size. Before I bought them I was a bit worried about the silver/metal chunks on the side and toe but they aren’t too bad when you see them in person. I get compliments about these all of the time… every one I know wants a pair. Best Adidas sneaker I have owned.

Best shoes ever - These shoes are the best court shoes I have ever worn. I play lots of tennis and they wear slowly and are true to size.

My favorite tennis sneaker - Before I bought these Barricade V's, I enjoyed the excellent New Balance CT1001 for FOUR YEARS. These sneakers combine the durability and comfort of my CT1001's with the Barricade's extremely hot look. I've got these in black and lime green. Very stylish, true to size, comfortable, durable.

Good - They fit fine, the comfort is great. The only problem I have is the red tongue, it sticks out. Plus, I thought it was a mid-top shoe, it is low-top.

Narrow up front - I wear a 16 and this is the first time I've bought Adidas Barricades because they never came in my size before. Compared to a New Balance "D" width they are narrow in the toe area. I got a blister between my toes because they were squeezed too tightly together, but then I got used to them and no more problems. Otherwise they look good and are very durable. The dense tread pattern in the forefoot helps the sole to last much longer than any other shoe.

Nice shoe overall. It's a little stiff to start with but is getting more comfortable as time goes by, so count on a break in period. They are a little heavier than I had hoped, but good support overall.

GREAT SHOE - THIS SHOE IS THE BEST TENNIS SHOE I'VE EVER WORN. The only thing is that they take about a week to break in.
