Bright for summer days, goes into night - I got the gold version as a sample bag. Eye catching brightness, fun alternative to basic woven and/or black, goes with lots of summer day/evening outfits. I usually go for purses that zip shut but these magnets are strong enough to keep closed despite all the junk I carry. Straps can be removed for handbag only. Also good for travel, to pack strap separately (I travel a lot). So far the material is holding up well- seems well constructed. If you need all day versatility that moves into evening, with some gold tone/reptile skin flair, this works.
