Fantastic and comfortable. The reviews were right! These are very comfortable and leg-lengthening. I have very slim but shortish calves on a 5'7" frame. I prefer boots with a little heel to elongate my lower legs a bit and was hesitant to go with the 1" heel. My fears were unfounded, though, because these boots really visually lengthen your legs. I wouldn't hesitate buying these even if you're short. On my calves, which are the length of most women who are maybe 5'6", these hit just at the top of my knee cap. Note that these conform very much to your legs, so if you are bowlegged or knock-kneed, they will not disguise that. Also, if your upper thighs are a bit large and you normally like to balance them out with a bit of bulk at your ankle, these will not provide that either and could emphasize the size difference. There's also extra length in the foot. I usually wear an 8 with plenty of room for thick socks and a 3/4 insole, and even with those, there's extra room at the toe. Sizing down might not be good, though because they'd probably be too narrow. If you have a long, narrow foot, you might want to consider going down a 1/2 size. These go great with tunics and sweater dresses, as well as skinny jeans as long as you have very slim thighs.

Look:I love these boots. I tried a few styles before finally ordering them, and I should have ordered them 1st! I was worried I would not like the elastic in the back or the low heel. But those things don't make a difference once you put them on. They are hands down the most comfortable and stylish boot ever! As a mom of a 3 year old, I have to say that slipping these on with a pair of tights and cable knit sweater puts a little zing in my step.

Look:These boots are amazing. I have been hunting for the perfect black tall boot that can be casual and dressy. I have big calves and everything makes my legs look like sausages. You should see the boots I have stored in my closet. I ordered these thinking I'd return them because they're so expensive. But when I tried them on I felt so beautiful. I hope they last with almost everyday wear. I figure Stuart Weitzman is a good brand, so as the sole wears down I can take them to a cobbler to be fixed. They're a little hard to get on. Give yourself 5 extra minutes in the morning.

Look:Great fit! I have really thin legs, yet I have seen them look great on more athletic calves. The boots are pretty true to size. I wear a 7.5 regularly, and it has plenty of room for a thicker layer of socks in the winter. Leather is soft and warm on the legs, which I was originally concerned about. Since I put them on I've received a lot of pointing and compliments. Best pair of boots I invested in: they are classy, slender and ultra comfortable. Hits right about the kneecap.

Look:Wow! Fabulous heart-stopping boots. I was hesitant at first because I am only 5' 1" on my sole, not sure if it be too tall for my size. But it's so well designed that it looks great, yes, great even on petite women. Its slimming effect made my already slender frame look taller; I feel like super chick on these feminine, sexy boots. Gorgeous when pair with skinny jeans or black tights; have yet to try it with mini dress, but will soon. My best friend, more height endowed, wanted one also when she saw mine. These babies are head-turning and mod. Also, they're ultra comfy. Gotta-have in my books.

Perfect! As with the Mezzo boot, excellent for thin legs. Works with leggings and skirts beautifully. Comfortable and sexy, practical for both work and going out. Highly recommend for those ladies who have a hard time finding fitted, tall boots.

Look:These are great, and I mean great, boots. They look fantastic on any leg, whether you are 16 or 56! Two things to know: Because of the rounded toe, they do run a half size larger. Recommend sizing down. Because of the elastic gusset, the fit of the boot is very tight. It really does not allow you to wear jeans with it. I suggest a legging or tight. Something extremely fitted. Also, do not plan to wear a sock. It will bulk up and cause the boot to buckle at the ankle. You will not like the look. Wear a thick sports ped, anything that does not cover the ankle. Have fun with this look!

Look:These boots run very tight through the shaft. I have very thin legs and there is no way I can tuck any kind of jean or even a heavy legging into these boots. Also because they hug the leg so tight and go over the knee, they tend to make the rest of the leg look bulky. If you buy these, be prepared to wear them with tights and thin leggings only. They are well made and fit true to size, but they are only for those with super skinny legs from ankles to thighs.

Best boots ever - These are the best boots I have ever owned, i.e., PERFECT. I have a hard time finding boots that are both comfortable and beautiful due to slim feet (wear a medium width but have almost no fat to cushion) and my knees will hurt (years of sports...) if the construction is not perfect. I also have slim calves and find most boots too gappy but these boots fit and look great, especially with skinny jeans. The effort to take them on and off is so worth it! They are gorgeous and people who know shoes literally stop me on the street. I often need an 8.5 dress shoe but the size 8 boot fits me perfectly since I don't have a "meaty" foot. Great elegant yet sporty boot, especially good for slim legs, worth the full price.

GORGEOUS boots! I've been searching for over-the-knee boots for forever but most either look trashy or uncomfortable--these are neither! Simple, elegant--i'm truly looking forward to wearing these for years to come. The leather is soooooo soft. Weitzman has them in a square toe version too, but i think the round toe is funkier. I'm so excited that Zappos had them in my size, b/c they're sold out everywhere--thanks Zappos!

50/50 scores 100! I love these boots! They look and feel great on! I have gotten wonderful compliments on them as well. They fit snug to the leg and look great over skinny jeans or a short skirt. They're very stylish. I have a gorgeous pair of brown suede over the knee boots like these that I bought at a department store years ago that I still have and love and these remind me of them.

Awesome boot - I was a little skeptical in purchasing this boot for my 22 year old daughter for Christmas. She was so thrilled. I love the fact that SW does extended sizes (in our case an 11) and since our daughter is 6’1” in flats and I did not know how the over the knee area would hit on her leg, but all was perfect. They were definitely a hit!

Stuart Weitzman 5050 - These boots are amazing. I have been looking for the perfect over the knee boots and I love these. The other ones I found did not look nearly as nice. These are so classy and simply. The leather is very soft and comfortable. My calves are pretty skinny so I had a hard time finding boots that didn't slouch down so the stretch in the back is perfect. I personally find them very easy to take on and off.

Perfect boot - Never spent this much on boots before, but these are perfect! The leather is soft glove leather quality; I was saying OMG! as I pulled them on. I tried on at a store, however they did not have the half sizes that Zappos offers. These fit snuggly to foot and up the leg, no gapping at the calf! A beautiful, versatile flat boot that is well made looks good and fits my feet. Ordered on Thanksgiving and they arrived the next day! Unbelievable! Zappos has the best service of any company by far!

For ladies with muscular legs - These boots are great. I can never find boots that fit my legs and was eager to see if these would work because of the elastic. They did!!! They are very comfortable and are not difficult to put on and off once you get the hang of it. You just fold it down half way and it comes on and off easily. I have 16 inch calves and I can even get my jeans inside. Super comfortable and very soft leather.

Very tall boots! I love these boots! They are flat, comfortable, sleek looking, and very, very tall! I have long, thin legs and these boots fit perfectly, hitting just at the top of my knee caps, though they can be folded to just reach the knee. The leather is soft and the stretch material running up the back of the entire boot holds them in place on my legs....no slouching! Really a GREAT BOOT!

Disappointed - These are GORGEOUS, very expensive boots. My issue with them is there should have been a zipper on the side for easy on and easy off. Instead they are pull ons which are almost as difficult to put on as to take off. You have to peel the boot down and then really pull (sit down to do this). I wear an 8 and I found them to be too tight. I would go up a half size. A plus is that when you fold them down to take them off they look like REALLY cool ankle boots if you don't mind people seeing the Stuart Weitzman logo. Not worth the money for the trouble.

Fab and comfortable - These boots are fab! Way over my price point, but I decided to order them because I've been looking for a tall boot that does not look trashy. They are beautiful; leather is extremely soft, and they're comfortable from the minute you put them on. I usually wear size 9, sometimes 8 1/2, and have a slightly wide forefoot and muscular (15") calves. These boots, size 9, fit great in the foot and calf. The low heel with the tall shaft looks very modern, not at all trashy. And they arrived the day after I ordered them!
