Look:...This is my second pair of this particular style - this time I bought the men's version because they are wider...so obviously, I like them...they have great arch support and are comfortable enough for me to walk all afternoon without having my feet ache - I have very high arches and there are few sandals that have any type of arch support...

I love them! So I have been a flip flop hater for years. I hate the sound they make when they, well flip and flop. A friend had a pair of these on the other day and I was intrigued. I like the looks and I really like that you can keep them tight to you foot. I ordered them and they arrived, took about a day for me to fully fall in love and now I get mad when I have to go to work and wear "real" shoes.

Look:I own two pair of women's Chaco's -- the Z/1 and Z/2 Unaweep. I was so disappointed to find that the Zong and Hipthong are not available in women's wide sizes -- some days a slip on just works better for my life. I took a chance and ordered the smallest men's size and they are almost perfect. Highly recommend these for a woman who has wider feet and is looking for a backless option. And, as usual, Zappos had them at my home the day after they were ordered.

Look:Bought these for my husband who isn't much of a "sandal man", but I love Chaco's so much that I was sure he would too! And I was right--he finds them comfortable and easy to wear...is managing to get used to having a thong between his toes too! I would highly recommend these to anyone.

These sandals ROCK!! I just received them my Chaco sandals. I put them on, and went for a three mile walk I came home, and left them on in my normally shoeless house! I literally hated to take them off...SO COMFORTABLE!! I wish they came in purple and bottle green because I would buy 2 more pairs! Excellent arch support, looks great with jeans, or casual skirt.

Look:This the third pair of chacos I have purchased. The left foot feels more comfortable than the right at this point. The reviews said the product runs small and that is definitely true. Normally I wear a man’s 8, with these I got the size 9 and the fit is perfect. Zappos amazes me each time I order from them. I ordered these sandals last night after 8pm and got them this afternoon around 3 pm. How awesome is that! Kudos to Zappos!

Great fit - Looks just like a flip flop but much more comfortable. I enjoy flip flops but my feet kill me after a while of walking in them. With these Chaco's my feet feel great all day long and they fit great. I have had no problems with the straps. I have purchased a pair for my wife to wear also.

I am extremely hard on just about everything. These flops seem to hold up to whatever life may throw at them. Not only are they comfy but they stay on when you need them to. I am in between a 13 and a 14 and I should have bought the 14. Other than that, I am very pleased! No flip flop chatter when you walk either. That can get annoying.

A great concept sandal that needs some work fine tuning. The cross straps quickly loose their place on the top of your foot after walking a couple of minutes. If the adjustable straps were a little longer for higher arches they might stay, but the plastic buckle allows them to slip loose if pulled to comfort tightness.

Industrial strength sandal. These are not a casual/lightweight flip flop. It's made in the Colorado tough design. Similar to Mountainsmith packs. More sporty then Birkenstocks with some of the similar designs like the contoured footbed that allows your foot to fall in place. The sole is thick so even if you thread on something nasty like a sharp stone it won’t pierce your foot. The adjustable webbing design on the thong is better than the other sandals from Chaco (the one with big toe strap) since it’s faster to adjust. It would be better if they had the ridge that goes under the toes so your toes can anchor the sandals even better. They are “re-soleable” but I tend to buy a new pair once they wear out so I’m not sure if that's necessary.

Really great sandals...Zappos is the best - The sandal looks really good, not many people have this type of sandal so one stands out for a bit, till you just ignore it. A very comfortable sandal, out of all the footwear I currently own, this sandal is the only one I could wear for days on end. The added strap allows the sandal to not flip as much as the traditional flip flop. It is very secure, also very amphibious as well; I can walk in water and not worry that the sandal will come off. This sandal should definitely be on everybody's wish list.

Chaco's Hipthong - I purchased this sandal for my son and he loves it! The shoe is very well made and has excellent support. He says it is the most comfortable shoe he has ever worn. He practically is living in it. I would highly recommend this sandal!

Comfortable Shoe - These things are really comfortable. What I like most about them is that you can slide them on and off without bending over. They feel similar to a flip flop, but with a little more security. If I know I'm going to be doing a lot of walking, I'll probably wear my Chaco Z/1's, but the Hipthongs are definitely nice to have around. Like other Chaco's I own, I bought the Hipthongs one size down from my usual size.

Shoe is great and so is ZAPPOS - Ordered a size 10 and it was too big, re-ordered a size 9 and Zappos sent it before I returned the first pair!!! As always Zappos customer service is #1 and I have received this type of service in all of my many transactions with these fine folks. The Chacos fit great and they are more secure than regular thongs. The adjustability is a plus feature.

Way comfy - I have a wide foot, so I ordered a men's. I loved these as soon as I put them on. I've found no better arch support. Initially, I thought my foot was hanging over the back a little...but after a few strap adjustments they were perfect. I wore them all day in comfort.

My husband loves them!!! My husband bought these because I have a pair and raved about them...Once he got them and put them on he's been wearing them everyday because they are so comfortable. My husband wears a 10 1/2 and ordered an 11 because I've always order a half size up--they fit him perfect...

Marvelous shoe! I bought another pair of Hipthongs for my college-aged son as a replacement for a pair I bought him last year. They are his favorite shoes. He wore them all summer at his job at the beach, then all winter, even. He told me that he's worn them to work, class, church, deer and turkey hunting, and on dates! His absolute favorite shoe. I had bought him Z/2's also, but he likes these best

Chaco customer for life... I've been trying for some time to find the perfect sandals... I like sporty styles, nothing dressy, because we do a lot of boating and camping, etc. I wanted something comfortable and functional, with a nice look. I looked on the Chaco web site and used their sizing charts to find my size. I'm female, but I bought the men's version of the Hipthong because I like the slightly wider straps. The sizing chart was right on. My new Chacos fit perfectly and are the epitome of comfort. I'm so pleased, and if these ever wear out, I'll buy another pair immediately!

5 hard weeks in Thailand.... Let me start by saying I'm a huge flip flop guy and am very much into the ultimate comfort they provide but I also need a sandal to be able to rise to some burley occasions. These Chacos are not only comfy as heck, but the vibram sole adds the stability needed to carry a backpack for extended periods of time thru fairly gnarly terrain. I got blisters a few spots the first day but after that these flips became my favorite all around casual shoe maybe ever. The extra straps added behind the thong are really effective in keeping the heel to the foot bed while going up steps or a rooty trail. I spent the most part of five weeks with these guys from Bangkok to the islands to northern mountainous regions and prefer them over my much loved keen h2's. They showed zero signs of wear so far after 200+ miles. I love these shoes man and I endorse this message. Vote for hip thongs.
