Good boot for the price - I have a short, wide foot and have problems with fit. I ordered about 5 pairs of boots from Zappos and these are the only pair that I kept (shopping via UPS!). They are more comfortable than I expected and very chic looking.

Look:These are the most PERFECT pair of boots I've ever owned. I have been on a 5+ year long search for a size 12, low-ish heel, tall boot with a form-fitting shaft. These are those boots. I have 14" calves and the shaft is perfectly snug but I don't have any problems getting the zipper up. I am 5'11" and usually don't wear anything more than a 2.5" heel. These are true 3" heels but they are so comfortable that you'd never guess as much. I am so happy with these boots, I am considering buying another pair, lest Fitzwell ever stops making them.

Sexy boot for the wide foot! Very sexy boot! I ordered an 8 wide and this boot fits very well. It was a bit snug at the top of the shaft, but this stretched after the first wearing.

Nice fit for size 11's - This is a beautiful boot for the money. Soft leather and for a pointy heeled boot, it was very comfortable on my toes. Seemed a tiny bit large though as I could wear thin socks with them. Still deciding whether or not to keep them because the fit isn't super snug and the heel is a little wobbly when walking. Not sure if it's me or the boot. The heel is not tall and there is good support inside the shoe, just trying to decide if I need a smaller size to make them more snug. Very elegant and sexy at the same time.

Great boots - Love it from the first moment. Boots very comfortable, light, warm, just a bit thin suede on the foot, but other then that, great boots.

Too bad it has such a narrow shaft - I read the other reviews before I bought this boot thinking that I didn't have an overly large calf. Well apparently that ain't the case. The shoe part of the boot felt great, but I couldn't zip this puppy over my calf at all. Really nice leather, though. So I'm still on the great affordable black boot search!

Fitzwell Fits Well - I like these boots, the gel pad in the heel helps, and for a 3 inch heel, they are pretty comfortable. I also like that they fit snugly around the calf and ankle. They look great with jeans or dress clothes. If you have bigger calves, I wouldn't recommend these though, mine are fairly small and they are snug.

Disappointing... the fit is not for your average woman - I didn't listen to the other reviews! The calf part is extremely narrow, especially near the knee. I could barely zip it up and when I did get it fully zipped, it felt so snug that when I sat down they felt like they were going to rip open. Too bad, it’s a very cute boot. I don't have unusually chubby calves, these are definitely not made for your average woman.

Very Sexy Boots! I just love these boots! They are so sexy and are actually very comfortable to wear. I have worn them tucked into my jeans and I received many compliments on them. They are a beautiful soft suede and look very well made. I have a narrow foot and they fit comfortably with light socks on. And I appreciate that they arrived at my door within 2 days! Thanks Zappos!

Fantastic boot for a reasonable price - This is a beautiful boot at a very affordable price. Looks more expensive than it really is. Also comfortable considering it's a pointy-toe stiletto. I think the top must run narrow because I have very small calves and it fits comfortable around at the top without bunching or stretching. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a dressy boot for the winter (especially if you have narrow calves or plan on wearing it with tights).

Nice! I tried to order these boots and they were out of my size. I ordered a different pair and did not love them. I was so happy to see that they got these back in stock. They fit great, look great and are really comfortable. What more could you ask for!

Sweet Boot! Originally Zappos did not have this boot in my size, and I was completely surprised when they emailed me 4 or 5 weeks later that they now had it in stock. I was so happy! This boot looks fantastic on and I have received many compliments. The shaft of the boot is very narrow, but thanks to Zappos listing the measurements I was able to tell this would fit perfectly. By the way, the shaft is listed as 13 1/2 and my calf measures 13, and this is a very snug fit on me. In a store I would have never been able to find this good of fit, even if I tried on several pair. Another great thing is that Zappos expedited my order and I got these boots within 2 days! Amazing! The gel heel really does help cut down on foot strain, as these are somewhat of a high heel.

Too Tight even on small legs - The boot was too snug in the front of my ankle and didn't allow my foot to lift upward. It actually left indentations on my foot due to pressure in strange places. I had a cramp in my foot by the end of the day. I have very narrow ankles, too, and at first was happy with them being so snug on the ankle and my narrow calves. But the pressure proved to be too much.

Not for larger calves! Well, I really should have paid more attention to the calf circumference on this one. While the boot is sleek and sexy, I could NOT zip it up my average to slightly larger than average calf. I even exchanged for a wide to just see if that helped - it did not. These boots are for narrow calves, ladies! Enjoy them if that's what you have! Thanks to Zappos for doing both an exchange and then a return for me!

Excellent - This boot is fantastic!!! Even though the heel is high, there are gel pads on the soles which keep your feet comfortable. They look much more expensive than they were - a great value! and came with a nice sateen bag to store them in/travel with. They were very true to size - you could wear a thin knee-hi underneath, and they were fine.

OK boot - The toe-box is very long (elf-ish) and I did not like the gel cushioning in the heel. Maybe it would be OK with socks, but it was awkward with hosiery. I felt like I was standing on a tennis ball. Also, the heel is inset too far for my taste. That said, the leather is very nice (I got black) and they fit my average-size legs fine.

I've been trying to get me boots for the longest while, that is boots that fit my skinny calf and at the same time make a statement, boy I've finally found them in this boot. Fitwell's Lyra - I love this boots. When I first got them they weren't that comfortable but after wearing them a few times they finally broke in. I got a size 7 which is what I wear and they fit with no problem. At first the calf was too tight but they didn't last long at all.

Sexy meets comfort - I never thought that I could wear such a pointy-toed boot, but the wide fit my feet like a sock! They are a very comfortable, affordable, sexy boot! I wore them all day, and I spend a lot of time walking. They look great with a skirt, and the pointy toe looks very stylish with pants, too. The shaft fit my smaller than usual calves perfectly, too! Because they are such a great price, I bought them in brown and black!

Look:These boots look awesome but they have some fit issues. Around the ankle area of boot it was very tight and I do not have big ankles. Calf part of boot was snug this was ok but must take them back due to the ankle fit.

Perfect - I ordered these boots in black size 12, first of all I was very happy that I finally found knee boots in my size and I also have small calves and they fit perfect. They are perfect for work with skirts and under you pants. The heel is also not very high so it’s comfortable. Thanks to Zappos I got my boots the next day, and have been wearing it ever since.

Fitzwell Lyra shoe - This shoe is ok to wear for going out at night. I am a teacher, and the shoes look fabulous, but they are definitely not meant to be worn for 7 hours! That should be obvious, but I was hoping that with gel inserts they would be fine to wear all day. I highly recommend buying the Dr. Scholl's comfort gel pads to put inside these boots. They help quite a bit. Overall, these shoes are hot! Don't plan on wearing them all day if you are standing or walking around a lot.

These boots looked very nice. They looked more expensive than they were. The color was good, and the leather was smooth and supple. The heel was a perfect height. The only problem I had was at the top of the boot, it goes in a little. They would fit great on someone with shorter calves. It did not reach high enough on me and pinched. I was disappointed. They looked and felt amazing otherwise. If I had kept them, I would have wanted a little more toe cushion, but that's true for me with most high heeled shoes. I loved these boots. Too bad I'm sending them back.
