Gorgeous all-purpose boot. First, as usual, Zappos gives the best and fastest service in the land. Now for the boots. They're good looking enough to dress up, and casual enough to dress down. They have a gel bubble inside under the heel that is quite comfortable. The inside of the leg surprised me with how soft it was. Heel height is great, and it takes a lot of effort to make my feet hurt in these. Regarding size: After all of the reviews I read, I bought a 1/2 size larger than my usual size, and that's exactly how they fit, a 1/2 size too large. It's a comfortable fit on my calves, not too loose not too tight. But I've got more room than preferred around my ankles and feet. Since my size is now sold out, I've decided to keep these since I usually wear thick socks with boots anyway. I'm an average-sized woman, but I do have smaller than average bones with narrow feet, which could attribute to the extra room. So if you have larger calves and ankles, go with the 1/2 size up. But if you're smaller and/or have smaller bones, seriously go with your normal size. The non-slip surface on the bottom of the boot is wonderful. The width of the heel is thin enough to be stylish, but wide enough to make walking in them a breeze. About an inch taller would have been nice, but I'm 5'8" tall, with long legs, so folks shorter than I shouldn't have any issue. I would definitely recommend these boots for style and comfort. In this economy, I almost never spend this much for shoes (even boots). But I'm glad I made the investment this time!

Super cute! I really like the look of these boots! The are very sexy, but I can still wear them to work! The heel is tall and I am already a tall girl as it is, but I still like them! I am a 9.5 normally and I ordered a 10 and they fit just right!

Look:If you want only one dress boot this year, this is the one. I ordered it 1/2 size up based on reviews, and it was perfect. Has a stack heel which will not peel, and a toe that is neither pointed nor round. Very comfortable boot that looks terrific.\r\n

Look:Beautiful boot, but a strange shape. I do not have wide feet or calves, and wear a 9M in virtually everything, but not this boot. There are no gussets to give as the zipper gets higher on the calf. The whole structure of the boot is too tight, not even allowing any heel slippage. Pretty, but have to go back. I would suggest a 1/2 to full size larger. Great service as usual from Zappos, though!

"Impressed!" Beautiful boot! I have 3 other pair of Fitzwell boots and ordered these a 1/2 size larger because of pointier toe - worked for me. They fit great and felt good from first step - I have a lot of fashion boots - shoes, (none are cheap) and none feel as comfortable as these do, especially considering pointy toe and high-heel - I could shop in these! I am very satisfied and highly recommend!

So close... Gorgeous boots but not for my ankles. The ankle is just a little too snug; it's better with inserts for my flat feet but still just too snug. I would love to keep them but I just can't so back to Zappos they go.

Fabulous Suede Boots in Colorado - These boots are gorgeous. They are nice and high on the calf, and extremely flattering. The only problem I have is they feel a little stiff at the ankle. I have not had this problem before with this brand. Unfortunately I will need to return them. I will definitely look for another pair to replace since Zappos has the best customer service I have ever encountered!

Beautiful boot, but not wide calf - I've owned Fitzwell boots before so I thought these would run about the same, but no way... they are not for wider calves. It's too bad because they felt great on, but I could not zip them above my ankle. Will try another pair because Zappos is excellent to deal with!

Beautiful boot - These boots are beautiful, comfortable and worth the money I paid for them. Unfortunately, I am sending them back because they do not zip up all the way. I have a larger calf and although the specs say that the shaft is 14", I read a review that said that the woman had a 16" calf and it was big on her...so I figured I would be safe to purchase the boot. I got the boots TODAY at work and tried them on...the boot doesn't zip passed just above my ankle. I am so sad about this because they are just perfect to go with the dress I purchased to wear with them. Back to the drawing board :0(

Super stiff and uncomfortable - save your money - I received my boots yesterday and was sooo excited to put them on as they looked uncomfortable. Well, let me tell you that they are nothing, but discomfort. The leather is supper stiff and tight and I agree with previous posters that there is no room for your toes. My legs are actually on the smaller sides so I was happy to get them as I thought I could wear them with jeans, but they are so brutal on my feet that they are going back today!

Love this boot! Unfortunately too big in the calf! I absolutely loved this boot and thought my calves would fit fine with 14 inch circumference but unfortunately they did not! I ordered size 11, and I liked them so much I took them to see if they could be taken in. When they measured, it was a full 16 inch circumference at the top, and it was 14 only right above my ankle!!! So the sizing did not match what Zappos had specified. It was going to cost too much to take them in just 2 inches, which would make them 14 inches like they were supposed to be. I decided they were not worth the price so sadly I sent them back. I looked online again and found an almost identical boot, RSVP Lojha, which has a smaller calf circumference so I am crossing my fingers!!

Great boots! I have a very high arch, 34" inseam and small calves. This boot fits wonderfully! I have had a hard time finding a black high-heeled boot that is tall enough, yet small enough in the calf. These totally fit the bill. I did add a gel ball-of-foot cushion since I'm on my feet a lot.....I had also ordered the Reena to try, but that one was too tight across the arch for me.

So sexy - These boots are so sexy. I wore them with a knee length dress and it was hot. That isn't even the best part. I am not kidding. I ordered them after 9:30pm on a Thursday and had them delivered by 12:15pm the next day. Can you believe that? Zappos completely rocks, and if you find yourself in Las Vegas, you have to take the bus (behind the fashion mall it leaves 3 times a day) to their outlet location. It is awesome! Have been buying from them for about 6 years and recommend it to everyone.

So comfortable - Not only is this boot exquisitely hot, it's the most comfortable high-heeled shoe/boot I've ever worn. 14 hours later and the feet are still happy. Very well made. Would highly recommend and am eager to try other Fitzwell items. Zappos selection and service will make that a cinch!

Ankle Biter - These boots were very pretty. I loved the heel because although it was very high (4 inches) it was square so I thought it would help me feel more stable. Unfortunately the ankle area was so tight I was unable to walk down stairs. I wore them in my house for an hour hoping they would stretch a little but it didn’t work and my feet started to feel numb. Off they came and back they go...I kept the ever so comfortable Sofft boots instead. Thanks Zappos for making this easy!

Cute to look at - I ordered the boots in my original size ... too small, if ordered them a size larger...still hurt... (Something about the toe area, NOT comfortable AT ALL.) I have to send them back as well... they are darling to look at, but I have to agree with the first reviewer that stated after 10 mins in the house and it was almost unbearable. They really are cute boots, but the ankle doesn't give and they are just ouch!!

I read another customers review that these boots may run 1/2 size too small, so because Zappos offers free shipping both ways, I ordered both a size 6 1/2 W and 7 M. My foot is slightly wider than the average and I can wear anywhere from a size 6 to 7 depending on the width and style of the shoe or boot. I put the 6 1/2 on my right foot and the 7 on my left. At first I thought the 7 was fitting better until I walked around on the carpet awhile and realized that the wonderful leather was already forming to my foot and the 6 1/2 W started feeling perfect as the 7 M slid a bit on my arch. I kept the 6 1/2 as they are comfortable, sexy, and expensive looking. Thanks Zappos for the free overnight shipping!

Does not "fit well"- These shoes are beautiful, but painful. The toe isn't that pointy, but the top rubs on the top of by big toes - OUCH!! Also, the leather around the ankle is VERY thick and hardly bends. I about fell walking down my stairs because the boots have no give. My ankles actually hurt after wearing them in my house for about 10 minutes. Cute to look at but painful to wear. I'm sad I have to return them.
