I ordered a 9 originally and it was too short. The 9 1/2 fit lengthwise, but the tongue of the shoe sits very high and rubbed into the front of my ankle. Too bad, because it's a nice looking shoe. If you order, try a 1/2 size larger than normal, and if you have wide ankles, you might want to reconsider these shoes.

Squash - Nice shoe, nice looking leather, however my toes are hitting the end of the shoe. My left foot is stuck between 5.5w and a 6w while my right foot is a 6.5w. I bought the 7w and I wish I would have purchased the 7.5. It does feel like a true wide though. Although it's a tie-up, it's classy enough to wear at work.

Weird feeling shoe when you first walk in it. It felt like a tennis shoe with a heel. I don't really like the small, elevated heel but have gotten used to it.

Looks good with jeans - I got the antique brown/mustard version and I like how they look with jeans, my standard attire. They are quite comfortable. The heel shape is a little different and took a day or two to get used to, but now I don't even notice it.

Cute, but takes getting use to - I really like the look of this shoe with jeans. I have the brown nubuck/black. The toebox is extremely wide so if you have a very wide foot there will be plenty of space. The heel takes some getting use to. The shank they added to help reduce overpronation really rolls you foot inward. Hopefully I will get use to it as I wear it longer. The tongue does come up pretty high and is a little uncomfortable going up and down stairs. Again, I am assuming this will improve as the shoe breaks-in. I would prefer a little more cushion in the sole.

Great shoes - The shoes fit great which is hard for me with wide feet. They are very comfortable.

Heel is a bit funny! This shoe looks great. It takes my orthotic but it is a bit narrow. The heel business takes some time to get used to. It rolls a bit. Otherwise not too bad.

Propet Prima everyday shoes - The shoes fit very well and are sturdy. I plan to wear them frequently this winter. They are nice enough to wear to a movie but hardy enough to garden in.

Yet another good Propét shoe! I've owned several different pairs of Propéts over the years. I bought these shoes specifically for walking as I'm going to be traveling to Italy for two weeks and will be walking quite a bit. They were comfortable right out of the box. My feet are wide, so I appreciate the extra bit of room in the toe box. I also really like the stabilization bar in the shoe as I tend to over-pronate. The only slight negative is that the tongue of the shoe comes up pretty high on the top of the foot and took some getting used to when flexing the ankle. The shoe looks nice. I bought it in the antique brown and mustard and am very happy with its appearance. I'd recommend this shoe to anyone who is looking for a good walking shoe that looks slightly nicer than a plain athletic shoe.

Comfy...eventually - The first couple of times I walked around in these I thought I'd made a big mistake. The tongue cut into my ankle and the heel is a little strange - it makes me feel like my foot is slanted forward, almost like a high heel. But after a few days they broke in and they're now very comfortable. The heel is still a little distracting, but I'm getting used to it. I wear them sometimes for 12 hours a day and only by the end of that time do my feet want release.

Looks great, but poor fit! The shoe looks great, but the fit is way off! Felt more than a half size too short and not much cushioning. I ordered a wide, and the width seemed okay. Guess I will try again.
