I purchased these slippers about a year ago. Even though Dallas is in the south, the winters can still be chilly. My house is mostly tiled, so the floors are cold and my office seems especially so.I love these slippers and wear them daily in the winter. The rubber bottom is a great barrier between the cold floor and my feet, and the fur does a great job of insulating. I wear a 6.5 to 7, and the 6.5 to 7.5 size fit me well. I have a high arch, so the slipper was a little tight around the top of my foot the first few times I wore them. I stretched them out a bit by wearing thick socks for the first week. After that week, the bottom molded to my foot and the fur compacted a bit so that they fit perfectly. I would buy again and recommend to a friend.

I got these slippers for my daughter for Christmas, and from the moment she put them on she refused to take them off all day! They seem to have the same insole and outer sole that my Acorn Wooly Bully's have, very comfortable but plenty of support. We both have the same foot problems (overpronation), and I wear mine constantly when I'm in the house. I wanted to get her the Wooly Bully but I couldn't find it and assumed Acorn didn't make that style anymore. They have stood up great for about two years now, but they are made of felted wool. The uppers on the Faux Chinchilla are made of Italian plush fabric. I'm not sure exactly what that means. Zappos should be a little more clear as to the fabric content in their description. All in all, she loves them!

These are so comfortable I never realize I have them on. I recommend them highly for both comfort and support. No other slippers compare.

Terrific for cold toes. I just LOVE these. For eons, I've bought whatever was at Target or other places. Not more costly. And my feet were cold. We keep the house at 65 in the day. At night, 55. So I finally sprang for these and am so very glad.

Look:The Acorn slipper has a nice wide toe area and the 8-9 fits my 8 wide foot very well. It has great support under the arch and over time the shoe molds to your foot. This is my second pair. They are well made and comfortable. The wool fabric does seem to attract pet hair so you will be removing that if you have pets.

Look:The absolute best! I had to wait for them to come into stock in black but they were worth the wait. I can\'t imagine buying another brand in the future. They\'re incredibly comfortable. I also do a lot of running around outside of them (including going to the grocery store) and the soles stand up to the wear very well. Can\'t praise them highly enough!

Not as supportive as I had hoped - I bought these because I needed new warm slippers. They were described as having good arch support. While they were somewhat supportive, the arch support is lacking. Of course, I normally wear orthotics so that may be the difference. Otherwise, they are comfortable and warm without being overly warm. I wear them to take the dog out in the morning. Also, I could have gone with a higher heel as these are flat for me.

An absolute must have for the winter. Soft and comfortable. Just perfect for running around town on the weekend. I wear mine to work, since I am on my feet a lot. Can't go wrong with these!!

Best Slippers Ever - These are exceptionally comfortable, cozy slippers - with or without socks. They might be too warm in some climates, but here in the upper Midwest they are great!

Loved the slippers. They have a great look - sleek and dressy. They did run a little smaller than other slippers from Acorn. They are my favorite look for this year. Give lots of support.

Very good "winter time" slippers - Very comfortable, warm without being "too warm" to wear for any length of time. Would not hesitate to purchase again, for myself or as a gift.

Most awesome slipper ever - I got tired of buying a pair of Dearfoams every year as they'd wear out... this is my first pair of Acorn slippers and I LOVE them. Warm, soft, good arch support, and a solid enough sole that I can wear them outside (and even to the store if I'm truly lazy). The only thing I don't love is that because of the rigid sole, they aren't as comfortable when curling up on the couch, but I would definitely buy another pair when these wear out.

Sizing a problem, otherwise great. I'm having problems with Acorn sizes. I have 2-yr-old Acorn slippers (not lined with faux fur) of the same size, M, and the soles of those slippers are exactly the same as the soles of these "chinchilla" slippers, but the old pair are almost a full size too loose. These, on the other hand, feel a half-size too tight! At 7.5, my size is on the cusp (medium is 6.5 - 7.5), so neither M or L is really right for me (um, thanks, Acorn), but I'm guessing the "fur" makes the shoe fit tighter and I think Acorn should take that into account. Otherwise, furry-soft and great springy memory foam footbed (and my 2-yr-old Acorns still have a bit of spring to the footbed). I just hope they stretch out. Soon.

My warm and fuzzy slippers - I have enjoyed Acorn slippers for quite awhile. The particular style that I was looking for was not available locally. I was fortunate to find them at Zappos.com. They are especially warm and cozy during this cold part of the year.

Slipping into heaven - This is a wonderfully comfortable slipper. The only minor problem is that I have a narrow foot and this slipper is a little wide for me. I considered a sheepskin insole but decided I could wear them as is.

Great for painful, deformed RA feet - I bought two pairs of these for a friend with very complicated foot problems. Out of many pairs that Zappos let us try and return, these were the most comfortable and can be worn outside. I wish the opening over the arch was a bit more generous, although it seems to loosen over time.

Favorite! These feel sturdy enough to make a trip outside to the curb, but comfy enough to relax around the house. The inside sole is soft and squishy, but the structure is firm enough that you aren't sliding around. I have a normal-to-narrow heel, and there is no heel-slipping. Love these, and would buy them again, and again.

Warm and Comfy - This is my second pair of acorn slippers. They are warm and comfy and stay on my feet better than the low-heeled styles do. Very durable too.
