Look:These boots are great! They are not steel toe, so they're pretty light. If you have large, muscular calves, these are the ones you want. They should fit for you...they fit for me where other Dr. Martens boots are too narrow around my calf. If you wear a half-size, order the next half size larger and wear thicker socks and/or insoles to take up the space. I ordered a half size smaller before and couldn't get the boots to break in. They were almost ok, but too tight across the top of my foot. I tried wearing them around the house for over a week on carpet just walking around and they were still way too tight. Fortunately, Zappos exchanged them quickly with no problems whatsoever. Even if you get the wrong size, they'll have the right size to you quickly! Thanks, Zappos!!!

Look:These boots rock. They were comfortable right out of the box. I walked across town and back the second time I wore them and they felt like an old comfortable pair of boots. I've been wearing them a lot. They look cool with my old Levis. They have great grip on the street in rain or sun. The lining makes them really easy to get on or off. In short they were worth every penny I paid.

Look:The best boots - We love this boot. We are disappointed that it is no longer available in black. Hope it will be again. Size is just a tad big since it is only in whole sizes.

I have ordered 100 red shoes for a wedding party. The color has to match David's Bridal's Apple Red color. These were a bit too deep red. Shoe has great walkability, nice toe box for those with wider toe boxes and narrow heels. Only problem is the shoe comes a bit high over the top of the foot causing it to cut slightly on the top of the foot as you walk.

Rugged Yet Comfortable - They looked worn and broken in the first day I put them on. I personally like the distressed leather look. I probably should have considered going a half-size smaller but they fit perfectly with thick crew socks.

Looks great, feels better - Boots fit perfect, as some one else suggested, order a 1/2 size smaller than normal. I have wide feet and 1/2 size smaller was still perfect because there is plenty of toe room. Purchased at noon Thursday, received by 4:00pm Friday.

A great birthday gift for my son - My son gave me a hint as to what type of "work boot" he wanted. I thought this one looked better that just a regular work boot. My son loves the boot and says it’s very comfortable. I was also very impressed with the service I received. I will be shopping with Zappos again.

Love 'em - I got the brown pair and the color is as pictured. The black pair looks dark grey online and they are in person too. Saw some in a store in Haight recently. I needed them for when I ride my motorcycle and they feel really durable.

Great boots-----Love them - These are rugged, yet stylish, and really comfortable. I have a pair of somewhat similar Doc Marten's boots (shorter) that I really like but are starting to wear and thought these would be a good replacement. They are.

Good work boot - These are good boots, but a little hard to get on at first. They are really tight getting on the first week. The only real problem I had was the first time Ii put them on, one of the button straps ripped off while I was trying to pull them on.

Best work/casual boot ever - I ordered these boots and received them the next day. When I put them on they felt like they had been already broken in. I am diabetic and comfort is a must. I have worn these boots from early morning until late in the night and they do not hurt my feet. I wear them when I get home with jeans and at work with khakis. The next order for work boots will be the same, I highly recommend these boots.

Luke Rigger - Love this boot. I am a pipe fitter general foreman. I walk about ten miles a day. I love it other than the upper is really stiff. All I wear are Drs and this is a good pair.

Very Impressed - Shoe is amazing as well as Zappos. Couldn't be happier. Someone earlier commented the shoe was more gray than black--however, to me, it looks just like depicted, a darker gray. The shoe fit perfectly. I wear a true 11.5, and was worried about ordering a shoe over the internet that I couldn't try on first. Unfortunately when it comes to shoe manufacturers, there is a large variation of sizes: with some I wear 12, some 11.5 (my true size), and others 11. However, with this shoe the 11.5 fit perfectly.

Great boot - Have worn Docs for more than 15 yrs...These boots are very comfortable...buy a 1/2 size smaller than you need as they run big.

Great Boot!! I have tried many pull on boots through Zappos, and this is finally the one. Great looking, great fitting, and pulls on and off very easily. I did have to open up the rear boot strap a bit to get my finger in though. Highly recommended, worth every penny...

Love these boots - I took a long time deciding on a pair of boots, it was between Fryes and these and I just couldn't spend the money on the Fryes. I am so glad I got these boots, they’re so warm, look amazing and fit great.

Luke Rigger Boot - Great boot overall. Only thing I would change is that the mouth of the boot is a bit wide making it difficult to keep narrow leg pants over it.

Bad Azz Boot! I love the rugged style of these boots...and you can't go wrong with the Doc. So far so good...but it did feel a bit snug on the right and the left was real loose...go figure.

Great boot. I was in the market for a slip-on boot for some time, but couldn't settle on a style. I just got these Docs a few days ago and am sold. They are comfortable, stylish, and the distressed look adds that worn in factor. Really good all around boot. Although they are true to size, be prepared for your feet to swim a bit. This is common with slip-ons.

Nice, sturdy boot that's easy to put on - I wanted a rugged boot that was easy to get on and off, and this fits the bill. It has elastic panels on either side allowing the boot to easily stretch over my foot as I slide it on. It's warm and waterproof as well. Kinda clunky looking, but that's what you get with a Dr. Marten boot, I guess...

Zappos service wins...hands down - Boots are awesome as has been my experience with all Dr. Marten's things. Having made shoe purchases with other online vendors, I can say that you'd be a fool to go anywhere else. Yes, you may pay a couple of bucks more, but the service you get from Zappos is unparalleled.
