Clunky sandal - Comfortable but the white ones are too clunky and old ladyish. I wanted to wear them to work, but not dressy enough. Maybe it's the beige sole.

I really loved these shoes - cute, comfortable, and versatile, but I took them with me on a trip that involved a lot of walking and after a couple of days of wear, the gel pads had come loose from the heel and were quite sticky. I had to keep wearing them like that for the rest of the trip, sealing the pads down with clear nail polish.

Straps don't loosen up. I liked overall look of these shoes. But the straps are too tight. Not really comfortable to wear for more than 2 hours. The elastic straps sink into the skin and squeeze the feet so much that I had to take the shoes off for blood circulation.

Still need a navy sandal - This shoe is very comfortable, but it has a semi old-lady look to it. I don't know why shoe manufacturers don't like to make navy sandals, but I will keep looking for one.

Fitzwell's Mercury sandals - Nice style. I really wanted to like it and keep it, but unfortunately, it's too loose for my thin feet. I'm really happy that Zappos' shipping and return make it so easy for me to shop around for my hard-to-please feet!

Not true to size - I purchased a black pair and a tan pair. The tan pair fit perfectly. On the black pair, the front cross straps were much too big. I returned them thinking they were defective and received a replacement pair with the same problem. For some reason, the tan pair fits and the black pair does not.

Super comfy, but sleek! Fitzwell really is comfy without looking dowdy. I find myself reaching for these sandals for a lot of occasions because you can walk the distance with this pair. I had to use those sandal pads because I'm a flatfoot, which only made it all the more comfortable. The price is reasonable, too. And of course, Zappos delivery can't be beat - super fast just when I needed it!

Fitzwell Mercury Fit Well - I purchased these shoes to be a basic summer sandal. They are very comfortable, though after about 8 hours of wearing, as my feet swelled, the elastic band became a little tight. I will take this as a problem with my feet and the heat and not the design of the shoe. I purchased the basic tan color and they do go well with my summer shorts. The height is perfect for running around with the kids and they do have a bit of sophistication about them. I recommend these shoes to people that do not like to get blisters as they are pretty much blister-proof!

Attractive comfort sandal - Good for taking a walk, but dressy enough to wear to work. The only issue that affects their comfort is, that after a long day you can start to feel the elastic cross straps pressing a bit. Slightly molded foot bed provides good arch support and gel heal adds an additional layer of cush. Excellent shoes and very comfortable.

Good go everywhere sandal - Pleased by immediate good and comfortable fit. Wore to work and felt comfortable all day. However, I have a wide foot, and noticed when I wore them out and about walking in warm weather (as opposed to sitting in an air-conditioned office at a desk all day), they were a bit tight across the toes. However, those with normal width feet probably wouldn't have the same problem.

Dress or Casual - Great looking sandal suitable for dress or casual wear. The cross straps were a little uncomfortable for a couple of wears, but loosened with wear as did the back strap. I will absolutely consider Fitzwell in the future.

Navy Sandals - These shoes are as comfortable as everyone wrote about. I had such a hard time finding navy sandals this year and I'm so glad I splurged on these.

Based on other reviews, I thought this would be a great shoe to wear to work. When I received them, the footbed is not flat, but molded and my foot was pressing against the sides in the back...not for me!

Fitzwell Mercury - Cute shoe, suitable for pants, skirts, dresses. Elastic strap across the instep gives a good fit. Has a cute little heel and feels comfortable for lots of walking. Have in black. Thinking of getting in brown or navy, too. I consider this a classic look that will last for years.

GREAT SANDAL! These are such great sandals! They required no "break-in" time and are so comfortable for all day wear. I am a teacher and stand most of the day and these shoes were awesome!

Sandals - I got these in white. They fit great. I wasn't sure I would like the bottom to be tan. It would have looked better if it were white. Since they fit great and looked good, I decided to keep them anyway.

Navy sandals! I've been looking for navy sandals for years. These are comfortable and nice looking, so they can go nearly anywhere. I'd consider buying another pair in a different color.

Mercury Review - I love these sandals. I spent two days walking around London in these shoes upon getting them and they were very comfortable. They were great and required no breaking in. They look nice. The cross strap on one of the shoes became a bit tight on the top of my foot towards the end of the day, but it was a small complaint.

I needed a sandal that I could wear with skirts and dresses, but it also had to have some decent arch support. I also have a hard time finding shoes because I wear 10 l/2. It is nice that these shoes come in that size. These shoes looked like they would fill all of these requirements. And they did! While I haven't worn this shoe for extended periods, it seems like it should have good arch support. It also looks nice on my foot. The two small straps are made of elastic, so they give you much more of a customized fit. It was a good choice for me.

YES!! Finally, a dressy sandal that I can wear at my job that keeps me on my feet for 6 hours. I'm going to order another pair as back-up!
