Look:The Gold Cup boat shoes are top of the line. The deerskin linings are soft and can be worn without socks from day one. I find these to be more comfortable than Sperry's original boat shoe. They provide more cushion and mold to your feet quicker. The vibram outsole really makes a difference. Within two weeks the shoes were broken in and felt like old favorites. The Zappos service is first rate. I ordered a ten and needed a 9.5. Zappos sent the new pair overnight before I sent the old ones back. I was able to try both pairs and send back the 10. Thank you Zappos.

Look:I have purchased several times from Zappo. I am most impressed with the speed which the order is processed. I have received shipments in one and two days with normal Zappo delivery. I have always received exactly what I ordered and have not had the opportunity to return an it item.

Look:Having helped my father build a fishing station, I have been around water a long time. A friend introduced me to sailing,with a 19' Lightning, on the Great South Bay, L.I. Discovered Sperry cup 15 years ago. The cup design where the shoes' sole and upper join is tightly stitched and glued to keep water out resulting in dry feet. The Sperry Top-Sider Gold Cup 2 Eye is a very handsome boat shoe. Already, I've received several compliments on its good appearance and quality look. I selected color Amaretta and am very pleased.

Look:These are the best boat shoes and most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, I now have three pair of Gold Cups. They are so comfortable I hardly were any of my other shoes. Great quality and durability, very soft leather inside and out. For extra cushioning, I put a pair of foam insoles under the memory foam deer skin insoles. A bit pricey, but after you’ve worn them, you won’t care.

Look:Let me start off by saying I have been a Zappos customer for many years and I truly believe they are the best website to buy shoes. I own many pairs of boat shoes and the Sperry Gold Cup series is by far the most comfortable. This is my second pair of this particular shoe and I can only say they are the best boat shoes I have ever purchased. If you are sitting there wondering if the cost is worth it, I can truly say it is. One caveat. I wear the wide size for all of my other shoes but I find the medium size is better for me with this Sperry shoe. I think many people will find the wide size in this particular shoe to be a little too wide. I wear this shoe without socks all summer and it just does not get any better.

Look:Good looking, versatile and comfortable boat shoes that fit nicely. The inside is lined with deerskin, which is very soft -- a little too soft (and sticky) if you are thinking of wearing them without socks.

Deerskin - Deerskin seems to expand more than ordinary leather. I would suggest a 1/2 size smaller. EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Great Boat Shoe with Memory Foam Insoles - I purchased these shoes for my husband since he has a bad heel from an old break. He loves boat shoes but needs excellent arch support. He is very pleased with these shoes and says that they ameliorate the pain a bit. The trick I found with the Sperry Gold Cup is to make sure you get the one with the memory foam insole. Not all Gold Cups have it.

Boat shoe - The Sperry was good but not as comfortable as my old Rockport boat shoes, which evidently are no longer manufactured.

Delamination - I love the look, comfort and fit. I've owned two pairs and both delaminated within one month in the same spot, right heel. May be related to stress during driving or the fact that I take that shoe off first. I tried a couple of cements to try to repair but no success. Maybe they should be shipped with Sperry's special contact cement.

Sperry Top-Sider's Gold Cup 2 Eye - The "Most" comfortable boat shoe I have ever purchased, true to size and width and excellent arch support. As a avid wearer of boat shoes with a current inventory of about 15 pair in my closet these beat any other pair of Sperrys, Timberland or Rockports I have purchased. A very unique style and sophisticated look, the most I have ever spent on a pair of boat shoes but worth every penny. Past purchases never had deer skin lining or triple density memory foam not to mention the 18 karate gold eyelets and hardware for corrosion resistance. Sperry you have hit a home run with this one, Thanks

Did not last – delaminated in nine months. This was a nice looking shoe that fit well but I am very disappointed that both shoes have the bottom coming apart in the same place after 9 months of very gentle use. I have had less expensive Sperry shoes last much longer.

Takes the boat shoe to a new level of excellence - Finally, a boat shoe that can serve as a dress shoe as well. Sturdy leather combined with great styling and dark soles make for durable, tough, but dressy shoes. The fit is perfect for my wide feet. These are not knockabout shoes. For that I still have my traditional Sperry boat shoes. To keep the laces from coming untied, you have to pull on the leather very tightly. Over time that problem will go away as the leather hardens up and keeps it shape better where one ties the knot.

I'm wearing them now - UPS just delivered these amazing shoes and I've got them on, barefoot. Great fit and very comfortable. Nice looking shoe, probably too nice. (I want to dirty them up.) I'm sailing down to Mexico next month and I wanted to get these with enough time to break them in. I don't think that'll be necessary. I bought the Amaretto color and they're the shade of a Maduro cigar...I'll report back after the Mexico trip.

I was very hesitant in getting rid of my old pair; had them many years. But my puppy tore the inserts out. Got this new pair and absolutely love them. What a difference in wearing them. Good Shoe - Only One Problem - I bought these shoes for my husband. He is very pleased with the comfort and look of the shoe. The only problem is that the shoes continue to come untied. There must be something that can be used on the shoe ties to keep them from coming untied. Any ideas?

Gold Cup 2 Eye - The shoe is a little more rounded toe than I expected and I probably would have gotten the brown if I could do over since the black something I don't normally wear. They fit great however and are very comfortable. I have some feet pain and these are the best brand for me.

I Think I'm In Love - I purchased this outstanding shoe for my husband who has been wearing Sperry Boat Shoes for years. The look and style of the shoes is extraordinary -- very attractive. My husband put on the shoes, walked around the house, then proclaimed, "I think I'm in love." He has wide feet and the D fit him true to size. This is by far, the best looking boat shoe Sperry has put out to date. Sturdy, good looking and functional. These shoes will provide many years of terrific, stylish wear. As usual, Zappos service was phenomenal -- overnight shipping -- who can beat that service! The shoes look great with khaki's and jeans. I'm so pleased I purchased this shoe for him -- so is he!
