I ordered these boots for the calf size, which I didn't feel was all that wide. The problem was the shoe part was way too big, when the calf fit snugly. If I were to get a smaller size to fit the shoe, then the calf would be smaller also. Cute boot, but had to send them back.

The plastic strip up the back ruins these great boots! These are comfortable, with sexy but stable heels and nice suede. But the faux leather up the back of the boot looks shiny, is obviously plastic, and really makes these boots look cheap. I would guess they cost $50 by looking at them. I love how they look from the front, and the extra-wide calf size was almost a little too wide for my 16" calves; this made the boots look slouchy rather than straight like they are in the photo. I am 5'6" tall, and the boots came to just underneath my knee, so they are quite tall, too.

Nice boot! This boot is nice and fairly comfortable. It fits very well around my 15.5 inch calf.

Solves some problems, not all... I have extremely wide calves. So I love that Zappos lets you search by this! I bought these after trying the Naturalizer wide calf boots. While these are not as comfortable, they are comfortable enough and make my legs look better because of the longer, square toe. I do not recommend round toe boots for wide calves! I wear a 6 1/2 and I bought a 7 for extra sock room ... fits great.

Great Look Not Such a Great Fit - When reading the reviews of these boots I noticed many people stating that these boots ran larger than their size. This was not the case for me. I had to order a half size smaller than I am because my normal size 8 was not in stock. I barely got my foot in the shoe and could not zip it at all. Even with a bigger size I do not think this will fit over my calves which are wide but not obese by any means. Sad to say they will be going back tomorrow...

Great Looking boots... but sizing is very big. I am usually a 10M, but I bought this boot in a 9-1/2M based on other reviews. The 9-1/2 was overall too large... the length, width, and even the calf circumference was too big for me (and I admittedly have robust calves; regular calf boots rarely if ever fit me). The design of the boot is very nice. I liked the contrast of the suede and leather, and I thought the boots made my feet look slender. Unfortunately, I didn't get to wear them, because they were just too big, so off in the mail they went.

If only they didn't have the button thing... I've ordered Fitzwell before, and these were nice, though I wish it were a pointier toe. The suede button thing kept falling off and one of them is completely gone now, so I can only wear them under pants until I make time to take them in. The gel is a nice feature, though I liked it better when they came with a gel in the ball area as well. All in all, a staple of my wardrobe because of the wearability, but the suede thing has got to go.

Sadly I did not find the boot so comfortable. I do have wide calves but they were swimming in these boots; had too much extra room around the calves and ankles. I like the look of the heel though as I tried walking around I could feel the hardness of it through the sole as if there was no cushioning inside. On the positive side, I did like the grainy look of the leather. Alas, I returned the boots the same day I received them. Zappos is GREAT! Very quick to ship and well packed. These boots were disappointing!

Design flaw - These boots are attractive and comfortable to wear. However, there is suede covered button accent which came off of both boots the second time I wore them. I work in an office, so my activity level should not have contributed to this. Now I have to take them to a shoe repair to have that removed and replaced with something else. So the price is going to be higher for a product I can use because the accent did not stand up to normal wear.

Decent boot - This boot was about half a size larger than marked. The cute little button at the top will come off if you aren't careful (I lost mine in the subway- now I have to get them fixed, I can't wear them or fix it myself). The toe is a bit boxy and upturned. But the boot fits well- almost too the knee, perfect height on my leg, they are comfortable despite the heel height, and great for a bigger calf.

Great Boot! What a great boot for people with wide calves. You cannot even tell that it is larger than a regular boot that goes to the knee. I love it. Totally worth the money.

Wide Calf Boots - These boots run a little large in the foot area. I normally wear a perfect size 8 in boots and they are a little big, even with socks. The boots are very stylish, but they are not as well made as I would have expected for the price. The quality of the leather is a little below average and somewhat thin and they are sewn in a way which causes them not to align the same way on each leg.

Not quite. These boots run big! I usually wear a 9, but I tend to get a 1/2 size bigger in boots so I got the 9 1/2 and they were huge! I returned for the 9, but they were still too big, so now I'm trying the 8-1/2. I'm just worried about the smaller calf in the 8-1/2 because I have big calves and have a really hard time finding boots that fit! The other thing is, I'm 5'5" and these boots come all the way up to my knee, I just wish they were a tad shorter. Oh well, I'm giving them one more try!

Love the boots - I would order boots from Zappos again. Great service, next day delivery. The boots I ordered fit extremely well and are extremely comfortable, I can wear them for hours. The leather on the boots is very soft and the boots are dressy.

Good Boots - I bought these about a year ago, a size 10 with a 17.5 inch calf. They felt a little too big, both in the foot and in the calf, but I loved the look so much that I didn't want to return them. They are INCREDIBLY comfortable on the feet. A little boxy in the toe, though. Since I bought them I have lost about 20 lbs, and maybe an inch off of each calf, so they now look a little silly on my legs. I still wear them sometimes, but they're a little slouchy. If you're like me and have "kinda big" calves, but not really very big, you may want to look elsewhere for good boots.

My search is over - I've had a really hard time finding boots that fit just right. I finally found them. They're very cute and sexy. They're not too tight or too loose. My calves are 17 inches. The stretch helps a lot and is a cute design element in the back.

Love These Boots - Very comfortable, they fit my wide calves 16 ½" with a little extra if I want to tuck my jeans into the boots. The padded insole is definitely a plus. I would buy these again and I will.

Great Boots - I have been looking for tall boots that would fit my calves forever. These are great and very comfortable. I work in the city and am running around most days in and out of the office. These are great all day.

Comfort and Style - The boot is extremely comfortable and stylish. I danced all night in these boots, and I am plus size and most times high heels and I do not go together. But they look awesome and they feel great.

Fit My Big Calves! I have over developed calves from years of dancing and this boot fit perfectly! And it didn't have that elastic vent that makes a shoe so dated. I am a teacher who is on her feet all day and these boots are pretty comfortable. Definitely worth the money.

Terrific boot - It's been a 2 year search for boots that would fit my calves, and these ones actually have extra room! I love the heel because it isn't chunky, but still gives quite a bit of support. They aren't quite as comfortable as I originally thought, but I still love them. I would definitely buy them again.

Definitely perfect for big calves - I have looked every where to find boots to fit my calves... even the boots that are made stretchy I still had a hard time fitting in to them... I read the reviews for this boot and thought I give these a try... I totally love them... they are a little snug, especially the right one for some reason... but they are a perfect fit and super sexy too...I am about 5 3' and they come right below my knee... from the previous review, I was worried they would be to tall for me... but they're just fine... Definitely recommend these boots for big calf girls who want to look super sexy!!!!

Bigger calves rejoice - I have 17.5 inch calf on the right leg and 17 inch on the left... these boots FIT!!! Hooray! And they look darn sexy! They come all the way up to the knee (I'm 5'5") are comfortable and beautiful. Make any outfit look instantly stylish. I kept the black suede. The ankle does not seem baggy to me, nicely slouchy but I imagine this is a better feature in the suede. Boots are a bit firm/hard under the ball of the foot but the heel is stable and they are easy to walk in.
