Very comfortable shoes. I do a lot of walking for work and these offer good support for the entire foot. Nice room in the toe box, no heel slip and good arch support. Plus, there is some heel technology for added comfort. They look great with all kinds of clothes: khakis, dress pants or even a suit. Might even be able to pull them off with jeans.

Bought this shoe for my son and he is extremely satisfied with the insole comfort and color. Very professional, stylish and elegant looking. \r\nWorth every bit of the price paid. I appreciate the flexibility and time frame with your return policy and will certainly recommend your brand to my acquaintances.

At least one half to one full size larger than expected. I normally wear 11 or 11/half shoes; ordered these in size 11, and my big toe is almost 1 inch from the end. These shoes are too long. If they had fit, I would have kept them.

This is a fantastic shoe. It's very comfortable and great quality. I have no complaints, but two warnings to potential buyers: 1) The only problem I have with this shoe seems to be more of an issue with the general style, not the specific shoe. It seems that this style of shoe runs long in the toe. I found that they fit perfectly everywhere else, but the toe is slightly too long and I trip over it occasionally. If you have short feet, you might consider a different style. 2) It's very comfortable! I sometimes forget I'm wearing a dress shoe, and go walking outside only to realize afterward I got mud and grass all over my dress shoes. Highly recommended for anyone who spends the majority of your day walking long distances in dress shoes (I'm a waiter, and the aches and pains in my feet have stopped since I switched to this shoe). However, if you are only going to wear it once in a while for short times and comfort is not an issue for you, you might consider a lighter-weight style because there's no reason to pay extra for the added comfort. Also a note on squeaking: I read some posts when I bought the shoe by people who said it was squeaking on the office floor pretty badly. I haven't experienced any problem with squeaking in these shoes during everyday use, but I haven't tested them on a highly polished floor.

Regarding the Bostonian Espresso Shoe. Very satisfied. What was described and pictured was exactly what was delivered. Comfort walking city streets and sidewalks is superb! Frankly, I am 59 years old. But, a fat guy, who even when overweight never likes to forfeit a sense of business fashion. These shoes do very well for me. A note about the width, they "run" a bit wide, I think. But this does not interfere with their performance. As for the service experience with Zappos. Also wonderful. From e-mail inquiries, to return processing, and the auto follow-ups when products I want come in. Super! I am buying my 4th product from them soon the Bostonian Espresso shoe, but in black. I wish I was wealthy enough. I'd use Zappos as my E-Valet Service when it comes clothing and accessories. I always know they will stand behind the product after the sale. Thanks, Anthony.

They're lightweight dress shoes. They're reasonably comfortable to walk around in. The ridged bumps on the sole are already starting to wear off so I imagine the traction on them in rain and slippery ground will worsen over time. For the price, they're a fine buy.

I purchased these shoes mainly for their ability through airport security. I am an airline employee and therefore do not have to take off my shoes through security as long as they do not set off the metal detector. Even though these shoes are sold as a non-stop, they have tripped the metal detectors at two airports my first week wearing them. Otherwise a great shoe.

Great Shoe! I love this shoe. Felt great the first time I wore them. I usually need a wide width but I can wear these even though they are standard width. Removable insole is perfect if I want 2 slip in my New Balance arch supports.

These are real, solid, grown-up shoes that are built to last. I had purchased several pair of black casual/dress shoes at a discount store, but those quickly revealed themselves to be exactly what I'd paid for: cheap. I realized I would rather have one great pair of shoes than two cheap pair. These Bostonians fit the bill. I had never worn Bostonians, so I was going out on a limb. They are incredibly well-constructed, and already I can tell they will last me many, many years, possibly a lifetime. They require a bit more breaking-in than some cheaper shoes: they are stiff. But every time I wear them, they loosen up and get more comfortable. Suitable for suits, or jeans. Incredibly versatile. And built with quality in mind, no cut corners in the construction. Solid. I recommend them.

Love this shoe! This is a beautiful shoe. A little wider profile than I normally like, but looks great when paired with slacks or a suit. It does seem to scuff a bit easier than other Bostonians, but easily covered with polish.

Little hard leather - Shoe feels like it will last forever. The leather is very hard and fake looking. Shoe is fairly comfortable but size is a little bigger than indicated.

I have been on a mission to find a replacement for my Nike Free 5.0s since they're old & worn out. Well, they don't make them in great colors, so I discovered the Nike Rift. After researching them on the internet & found out they have a cult following, I decided to order them. THEY ARE AWESOME! Very comfy, cute, and light! Just like my Free's but better for everyday tasks like grocery shopping, going to the park, walking the dog, etc. But enough about the shoes- yes, order them. But order them from Zappos. I am a 100% loyal customer after this second purchase from them. I don't know how this is even logistically possible, but I ordered my Rifts at 8pm on Monday night and they were on my doorstep at noon on Tuesday!!!! How is that for service!? It's like internet shopping PLUS the instant gratification that we all crave! Kudos! Will order again, and soon.

Definitely get a half-size larger than what you normally wear. I'm a 7.5 and ordered an 8 and they just fit. When I first put these shoes on, I thought they were the most comfortable flats I've ever worn. They are very soft on the inside and overall very flexible. Simple lines. But during my first day of wearing them out, I found that they pinched a little on my big toe and little toe "knuckles" (I guess you would call them). That is to say, they were the slightest bit too narrow at the widest part of my foot (around the ball area) and I don't have particularly wide feet. I tried the 8.5s, but they were the slightest bit too big. All that being said, I'm sticking with the 8s. The shoes are cute and I hope that I can remedy the problem just through stretching them out. As always, Zappos was great with shipping and customer service.

Nice looking shoe but lacks comfort like other such shoes - I don't understand why nice looking dressy shoes have to have absolutely no or very little padding in the inside? Why can't they combine sneaker type padding with dress shoes? Anyway, I loved the look of this shoe, but couldn't keep it because of the comfort factor... not the first time this has happened to me. Disclaimer: I have sensitive foot to anything but padded shoes - my feet hurt in various places, get calluses etc. Zappos as usual was trouble free in the return. But if you don't have such feet issues as I do, get this shoe!

These shoes squeak!!! These shoes are incredibly comfortable but the finish on the soles leaves you squeaking your way around the office driving you and your co-workers crazy.

Bostonian - Very good durable shoe. Sole is thicker than previous Bostonian Styles and should hold up longer.

Nice Shoe - Very nice shoe. Pretty comfy out of the box. I love the removable insoles. I can slide my new balance arch support tennis shoe insoles in and makes them even better.

Espresso love - Very nice shoe. I bought it for work, financial planner, and it is fine for that. It has been comfortable; break-in is not finished yet though. I walk up and down Seattle's hills and haven't gotten a blister yet. Sizing seems right. I got a size 10 1/2 so I could fit in a Triad arch support. Next time I'll go with a 10 for a more snug fit, but I like the extra toe room. I should say that I'm usually a 10, but it varies.

Great looker, very good feel - Just like I like my espresso, to go and instant satisfaction! great looking with suits and feels more then the value is set for the shoe, had it for about 4 months and so far so good. I've got flat feet and the M width actually works out good for me, 2 pods cushioning for shoe gives extra padding for back of the heel as well as ball of the foot which makes it a great 8-10 hour day shoe! Recommend for business casual wear offices.

Love these shoes - They are like walking on air comfortable as compared to the last pair of shoes I was wearing. The 2Pod System is great - I might buy another pair in brown.
