Still thinking weather to keep these. It is rare that boots fit me in my narrow calf area, these do. But they are kind of loose in the ankle, even my fashion-clueless husband noticed that :). I hoped to wear the sweater cuff up or down folded, but it has an ugly seam on the inside, so down won't work. And they seem kind of cheaply made if you look at the leather and fabric closely, but are fairly comfy for the heel height. And the lace detail is cute.

I found it true to size and width. But, it seemed very cheaply made. No support in the foot area, my foot had a tendency to want to turn at an angle because the shoe was flimsy all around the foot area. Sort of like wearing a house slipper boot, if you follow my meaning.

Pleasantly surprised! Gotta say, I was pretty impressed with these boots. I walked all over the hills of SF in these for Halloween. I did get one minor blister--more padding in the front of the shoe would be great here--but otherwise, the chunky heel and flexible sole had me breathing easy all night. And they're cute! I got a 9.5 so I could wear them with socks--I normally wear a 9 and I've found that boots in that size generally run small. These are true to size, though.
