The shoes were beautiful and exactly what I wanted, but with a little scuff from rough shipping that easily buffed out. They were delivered within the timeframe specified and fit perfect because I knew my exact size. All in all, a pleasant first time buyer experience.

Look:This is an excellent product. The shoes were delivered promptly. The soles are part rubber, which means that they do not slip. The product is excellent and Zappos did an excellent job to facilitate the purchase and delivery of my order.

Look:I work in a bank and typically lean towards a classic, conservative style and these shoes are a perfect fit for black, gray, navy and khaki slacks. Wingtips can seem too formal and cap-toes are boring, so I feel that this saddle is a nice mix of business and somewhat casual style. The fit was a little stiff at first, but after wearing them for a couple of days they worked in and are now incredibly comfortable. Hopefully they'll keep making this style, since I'll for sure wear these out and need another pair next year...and chicks dig them.

I thought this style had disappeared. I've had this style awhile ago and I just liked them. Within the past Two (2) years, or so, this style seemed to have disappeared from walk-in outlets. I went to the Zappos site and was pleased to find them. Thanks! Bob K

SHALLOW HEEL FIT, SLIDES UP AND DOWN - I'm hoping the Florsheim Hamilton shoes I bought will break in. They look great, but feel cramped around the toes. The heel section is not deep enough to accommodate the heel of my foot, and this causes the back to slide up and down. It does not rub, but it doesn't feel comfortable.

Classic Style - I have continuously owned a pair of Florsheim Hamilton’s since I graduated college in 1987. These shoes are comfortable, durable and beautiful. They are a classic style and the black/cordovan combination goes well with any color of suit or slacks. My latest pair of Hamilton’s were on their last leg and I couldn't find them anywhere...until I came across Zappos.com.

Disappointed in width - Unlike other reviewers, I found this shoe runs narrow for stated width size. Normally wear a 3E, but this shoe was much too tight in that size and had to return them.

A comfortable shoe - This shoe fits nice and is very comfortable to wear. I went to a 10 1/2 this time to see how it was, (the last shoes I purchased were 10 and were a wee bit snug) these work for me, break-in was fairly quick. I will be back next time I need dress shoes.

Saddle shoes - Plenty of room and leather-lined comfort. Fits like a glove. Looks good with everything, dress, casual and people notice the nice style. EEE size width is just right for my foot.

Very positive. After experiencing a decline in the quality of Florsheim's a few years ago, I stopped buying them. However, wanting a pair of shoes like these to complement my wardrobe, I decided to take a chance and purchase them, knowing Zappos excellent return policy. To my pleasant surprise, not only did I find these shoes comfortable, but nicely built, and upon wearing them there was very little 'breaking in' that I have experienced with other shoes, and most importantly, no back of the heel blisters. One very minor detail that I thought odd was for dress shoes, they didn't have a beveled edge on the inside of the heel, but this is again, a minor issue.

Air Leak? These shoes look great. I get lots of compliments. Unfortunately, they hiss when I walk. The left shoe sounds like it has an air leak. You can hear it over the street noise when I'm walking down the sidewalk. They look great, but the hissing has me bothered.

Excellent - Look: Very pleased, the shoes look better than the pictures. Very distinguished, very masculine, classic style. Comfort: A little loose in the heel, but otherwise, a snug fit. Service: I ordered from Vancouver BC, took 2 weeks. Not as exciting as next day shipping (lucky American consumers) but can't find these shoes in any store up here or in Seattle. Overall: I would shop at Zappos again, but wish they had warehouses in Canada to provide Canadian consumers next day shipping.

Banker chic - This is my 2nd pair. Toe-box is a little snug if you are used to the current squared off shoes. The design is subtle, but this shoe gets noticed, lots of compliments as they are very unique. Great with any color suit and they wear like iron. They get better with age; my last pair still looked good after 2 years of daily wear.

Handsome classic shoe - I have owned this style saddle oxford for over 25 years, and this shoe compares favorably with the others which I have had. The shoe does take a little breaking in, but thereafter it is quite comfortable, and I like its classic appearance.

Great Dress Shoes - I agree with the reviews that say that these are COMFORTABLE shoes. A little stiff to begin, but breaking-in took only (2) wears. Lots of compliments received.

Eye-catcher - These shoes are an eye-catcher. Many have commented about the "beautiful" shoes. They are true to size and well-made. Florsheim went through some bad years, but they seem to be back to their previous level of quality. I sold shoes for years before I went to graduate school, and am very particular about the quality of my shoes.

Best, handsomest, sturdiest, toughest shoes I own. Exceptionally handsome, sturdy shoes. Thick leather, nice heavy sole. Impressive feel when you walk, impressive sound too. I got my soles rubber coated for a modest price so I would not slip. The cobbler said they are worth 200 dollars. These are just amazing. They take a shine well, too. Manly yet elegant. Not thin and janky but thick and heavy. Totally comfortable for walking, too.
